  • i dont know what i just watched =w=

  • i think the second one has longer stairs

  • Ummm... Motion blur. Dof

  • @Loladaslaya ...... Dont tell people words that they can an cant use... its youtube.. there will be people who will have there own an different opinions...

  • before... not infinite stairs (up), after, infinite stairs (up)

  • @Promotein i think you're right... and is it me..or did her lips move???

  • @DarkAngel12298 too low resolution

  • @Promotein shit thats creepy

  • it was probably just me but i think the girl moved o.o

  • Motion Blur is nice, but if it decreases from 600 to 30 because of your HARDWARE, it's bad. If it does it because of you limiting it, it's gooood

  • After is like AWESOME

  • I definitely like the motion blur.

  • 2nd more effective (:

  • The second has a more visible motion blur due to the decrease of the fps?

  • i`ve focused on the cutey girl... so... i don`t see any differences, the cuteness is same :D

  • @Lechovux She's animated, dude.

  • sorry , but i fell sick hen i watch the second one :(

  • I dont get it...

  • After. To really see the difference, you're going to need to add a background and try moving away and side to side.

  • The second one is definately better, it has a motion blur which is a very realistic quality :)

  • @Neptutron BUT WAIT! didnt you hear! brown is the new real! now lets add some bloom... Nope, needs more bloom. Your eyes hurting from the bloom? Then we need more bloom. Now lets add some more bloom. Your head exploded yet? Then we need more bloom. Can you still see something? Then we need more bloom. Ah, so you finally cant see anything. Good.

    *reviews/ratings:

    graphics: 10/10

    perfect graphics, very realistic.*

  • No

  • the ball of light is like tripled in the before

  • ohhh, you added a blur affect to it. that makes it look like a real camera was moving. awesome. I like the second one. :D

  • there is a glow added around the stairs that is in the after and not in the before.

0:17 vs 0:41 in the after there are multiple transparent halos of glow that may be what slowed it down.

but it could be the angle that is making it look like that. If this is not it i would really like to know what caused a 20x FPS decrease for little to no visual gain...

  • @jared13000 some people say motion blur but the whole video is blurry and it may be motion blur on the camera work but the camera work is different between them so who knows?

  • u added more stairs in, in the b4, u notice the end of the stairs, in the after, it's continuous, that's what i think

  • Its the stairs! You look at before- Its on left when the camera looks up. and the after part is the right one when the camera looks up! I just broke this mystery. Like my post please,

  • @raiDen1MK I broke this like 3 mins ago. I kept thinking why the camera likes to look up. and then saw the stairs was changing course.

  • @raiDen1MK yeah i rated you up cuz you seem very confedent it is the stairs but.... ryte now i feel like a total dum ass cuz i have no clue what the hell you meen... plz explain it to me

  • @ToasterTheGuy14 try looking at the stairs.

    BEFORE AND AFTER many times.

THEN YOU WILL SAW THE STAIRS(BEFORE) is at the LEFT SIDE

and the stairs(AFTER) is at the right side

  • 0.18 and 0.41

PAUSE it. DON'T PLAY THE VID

  • @raiDen1MK awesome thanks lol

  • I see a drop of light at the end of the after . . . idk if that is it or not but it is cool. :3

  • The motion blur really adds a lot. But it's not worth THAT much FPS loss...

  • endless stairs oh damn

  • @MelodiousNocturne9 what a workout

  • I don't see any differences.. maybe it's because it's 5:11 AM.. eh, I'ma take a guess. *Looks at answer* I know it, but I'll never tell. o3o

  • motion blur and an umm.. "easier" panning

  • More stairs winding up the second time, and the camera zooms in to her face less the second time.

  • Nuooooooo..... The after is faster? o-o

  • reminds me of kingdom hearts

  • this is more like a cinema movie with more fps...I'm saying it just looking...but i can explain...and with few fps it's more like a homemade video....if you can understand me -.-'

  • Where the stairs are in the beam of light....before they are curving up starting on the left, after the start on the right....I think

  • now i see it o.o

  • i think you should split the screen in half so you have half of "before" and half of "after"....easier to tell the difference..

  • HER EYES?

  • i see more stairs

  • The motion blur on the "after" section makes the movement of the camera feel more "natural", like a person's eyes looking around. If you're doing something from a first-person view, I'd recommend using the motion blur if possible. You'd get a more "immersive" effect with it. FPS for an animation isn't important, because you can take as long as you want to render each scene. For a game, though, you might want to use a less intensive effect to increase the framerate. ^_^

  • I think it looks better, the 'after' bit

  • stairs somehow look different to me

  • its not a game but its in the gaming section... ok

  • uh....the stairs..?

  • @xxCHuFii i gess...

    they're longer :\

  • after looks much better IMO. how did you achieved that? shader or sth? its brilliant :)

  • Motion blur

  • why are ppl so dumb? He ask u: stick with 600 fps or go down to 30 fps...

Imo I think u could go down to 50 fps or something like that but 30 makes it all 2 blurry.. "/

  • the top of the stairs??

  • the difference is the second time there is motion blur i think which gives the game/animation a unique look and feel..

    very good mikeinel

  • it's the thing on the stairs or sun. the little bump. the before one had light there. the after one had a gray thingy.

  • compare 0:18 and 0:44 there's a difference at the top of the stairs :))

  • well the girl, seems to stand differently.. but many would probably disagree

  • many differences there, the girl stands differently, the stairs move differently the camera angles are different, the light is different and it seemed smother

  • it was the fps i think..

  • This was made a while ago but, the only difference I can see is at 0:22, the light at the top moves as opposed to the after. But, that's it. :D

  • Motion blur <3

  • i think after was smoother

  • wow....i no it aint a game...but u make really cool and good games...im playing how right now and its fun lol....u didnt put pants on her lol that's wat makes meh wanna play it lol

  • the stairs spiral up differently

  • (1(AIS update DOT = this video is not correct, HEN C ode DNA program changes effect--)1)

  • what programme is he using to make/ animate this??????????????

  • that reminds me alot of Kingdom Hearts,, like the stairs...and isnt that the canceled game mikeinel made?

  • @gamebasket125 it reminded me of kingdom hearts too! thats wut i thought it was

  • What graphics engine is that?

  • What yuriisnotporn said.

  • There is a difference. on afterthe stairs go all he way up with the light, on before they stop short.

  • Well TBH anything over 60 FPS the naked eye can't tell the difference. So saying 600 FPS is really just saying 60 compared to 30. So it's not that much of a difference. You just notice a slight bit of stutter with the before and after. But with the video constantly pausing (I guess bad encode.) it is really hard to tell to begin with.

  • 600fps are really smooth for me the 30fps one >_> sry I don't like it really it's to mechanic

  • the after is smoother i think :/

  • lol the girl is creepy O.O

  • ..i feel so raped.

    i'm scared.

    5/5

  • Before was a bit mechanical, after is better to me.

  • I can't really see difference between 30-40 ish fps and higher. But evertyhing above 30 fps is good, in my opinion.

  • Now that I watch it again a couple of times, theres a slight difference when watching the stairs moving at 0:43. I think about 50 fps would be totally smooth. 600 is kinda overreacting ^.^

  • After is good for surrealism.

  • i think the view after looks a little clearer lol...how do you make such great videos...like is there a program that you use?

  • if u dont mind me asking how did u do that?

  • Woah on the second one the stairs got higher o_o

  • The second one seems to be blurry, and the girl isn't shown as much

  • before it looks like snow falling...and after looks kinda blury and it looks like rain drops falling

    In my opinion

  • With the after the stairs arn't has squared and formal, and you can see it sprialing around the light all the way up. After be better =3

  • The after looks better. The stair movement looks slightly slower and more realistic. It's worth it, because you can't see a huge difference. It's not like it's blocky either when it plays, it's still smooth.

(I am talking out of my arse but I do have a point!)

  • the camera angles were different adn the second one was blurry just a little.

  • well, I can see in "before" the stairs are more "squary" (I don't know how to say it) and in "after" the stair is larger like a rectangle "before" is more like a square...(if you don't get what I say neither do I xP)

  • the difference is the camara angle and the 2nd one is blury. very good drawing on these vids keep it up

  • I feel the "After"'s movements feel much much better, smoother and realistic. It has a motion blue effect to it, as well as a gravitational feel. Probably it has an ease in/out kind of camera movement property.

    Great stuff whatsoever :)

    (After is totally worth it)

  • The second picture has more stairs!! :o

  • the second one has motion blur?

  • are you some kind of game designer?oo

  • much better

  • It doesn't change =(

  • Theres a small difference, noticeable, but not too huge to me o.o

  • i dont get it...i feel stupid

  • wow ok heres how it is they changed the FPS (frames per sec) from 600 to 30 aka they amde it a lot faster

  • Not a lot faster. Baka. It would be 20 times faster if it worked like that. The frames are removed but not in a manner that would speed it up. The play time is exactly the same.

  • @Darenimo dont...EVER...use that word EVER again

  • u're no the only one

  • @stephyysrandom It's all in the user's comment.

  • It looks a little bit better with the motion blur, but, I think it's not worth it

  • What is used to make the motion blur in DBPro?

  • i see rain

  • it looks kinda better with motion blur, but if you have to sacrifice 20x fps, then it's not worth it, because it looks very good without blur =)

  • it looks the same...lol

  • there's a little motion blur, but other than that, it's all good

  • no, at first, its snow. now its cherry blossoms falling.

  • the first was bright and the after looks much better, i could see the stairs go further up

  • i agree it was a lot better

  • the stair case is longer ??

  • Yes. The first one makes me think of playing a video game and you're looking through the character's eyes. The second one makes me feel like you're drowsy or dizzy.

  • ???? not much

i dont know much for me the diference was after it looked like you smoothened the graphics a wee bit like what they do with adobe photoshop XD

  • stairs are more visible higher up in the after shots.

  • i noticed the camera move more swifter and smoother

  • theres a close up view of the girl after and not before at the end!!

  • there's motion blur.... that adds a touch

  • The camera changed, and I think it makes it seem a bit more natural instead of just moving straight around, it feels like there's tension to it.

  • the stairs rap around the light in the "after"

  • the only difference is the text????

dont blame me if i'm wrong... i'm a swed. (my answer to prbly everything:P)

  • Wow looks like a good game with ur skills and blur motions id like it. I use 20 FPS or 25

  • dude u rock

  • you added more stairs

  • 2 rays of stairs on the pillar after 1 befor

  • the stairs weren't on the pillar before and then after they are

  • the rays of the rays of the light shine brighter in the after one then the before one. cool

  • MADDDD!!! D:

  • The second one is reminiscent of the motion blur introduced in Portal. I like it!

  • If you look at the stairs at 0: 42 , you can see the stairs more and at 0:19 , you cant really.

  • The difference is small, but I do see one. ;p

  • the second looks a little bit blurred.however after uploading both are 24 or so fps...it would be interesting to see the original ones.nice work after all.opengl or directx?languange?(sorry because my poor english...:P)

  • motion blur gives the effect of higher FPS, i say yeah ;)

  • I don't get it either

  • I don't get it.

  • I prefer the less blurry version.

  • I dont get it :/ It just got... blurrier

  • you should do organization 13 with their chairs up and down just like the stairs. XD

  • The second one is great I love the motion blur you gave it, the motion blur made the snow look more realistic, made edges appear a little softer and made the camera changes feel natural. I think the second one is totally worth it. Wish i could make 3d models as well as you :[

    Any ways well done :)

  • I like the before one o - o

  • all i see is the girl changed to pink

  • i think she was pink.

  • The eyes see 34 fps.

So, we not need 600, and the 30fps one is better.

  • we see at aroun 24-27fps

  • i like the after.

  • oh yea. theres a diff.

  • Yeah,the camera-thing is faster and stedier.

  • In the second one.

  • hmmmm...

  • so, whether or not the change is worth it depends on the focus n goal of the piece....i would say there's a lot of unnessicary movement in both, but i like the 2nd better

  • Before - You can't see the stairs in the light very well. The stair blends into the light.

After - You can see the stairs in the light better now.

  • only difference I saw was in the after you could see the bottom of the stairs when you looked up in the before all you could see was light and the side of the stairs

  • i did see a lil diffrence

  • 30 is the standard fps for animation, and there really isn't a difference that the human eye can detect. Go with 30 fps as it is a smaller file size.

  • ...it looks pritty much the same... he jsut said the frame rate was differnt......

and id prolly go with 30 cuz it doesnt make much of a differnce it looks great either way

  • The first one looks like little lights in the sky like maybe stars?

And the second one looks like snowing.

Other than that it was the same I thought. I liked the second one better tho. :) The snow was more snow-like I think.

  • i'd go for after =?

  • just the speed, motion to change an imagery =P

  • know the stairs look at thows

  • The first on is snowing. The second one is raining. Also the second one has sorta a soften up detail added to it. You soften the image

  • I was gonna say that...

  • At first glance u won't find any differences...then I think that I wouldn't find it either if XSasukeKunXLovesXMeX didn't say raining..but it really is...raining in the second one or so it seems... :-)

  • The fps speed of each clip

  • The first one is snowing.

    The second one is raining.

  • Before and After hmmm.. After is better cause i see the motion of fast looking around.. when u look fast around u see things blurred for a sec and Before i couldn't see that effect. In my opinion After is better :) its more smoothy and more realistic look and sense.

  • Comment removed

  • "before" looked a little bit smoother i think, but only a little

  • hmm. I had to keep looking over this to see any differences and it looked like the after moved a bit slower, and also it moved more though, plus it looked more realistic, but then again that's just what I see and think

  • The one at the top has two thick lines. I think.

  • i don't see any difference

  • i.think.that.the."After"had.more.stairs.

  • Second one looks perfect (: !
