not too mention how classic it feels, new york everything feels like its been torn down and built back up, chicago still has the feel of a REAL city, besides the trump tower, the sears (willis) tower, the john hancock center, and the aon center are some of the most humble looking sky scrapers i have ever scene, it doesnt feel so fake, it still has its history even though the whole city burnt down

god damn i miss living here even though it was only for 2 monthes, i have always lived right next to new york and it used to be my favorite city, but chicago by far just has the best vibe of any city ive been too, i was never bored

@CannibalRon I use magix, but it can be any other software. Just used tripod, wide angle lens and 60fps.

Another concern I had was the possibility of the magnet attachment messing with the camera's electronics. From my basic knowledge of things I know that magnets aren't good for electronics. So my question is: Do you see this as a concern or if the magnet not powerful enough to effect/damage the inner workings of the camera?

@CannibalRon I had similar concerns but still tried it. No issues determined yet. Haven't heard anything reported as well.

@stanovoy Have you tried the Bower .45 Wide Angle Lense with the Zi8? I bought one for my Flip Mino and the rings fit around the outside edge of the Zi8 with no issues at all. I'm Uploading a video of installation of both right now.

@CannibalRon Magnet is not impacting image or camera. It is proved. I'm using it for longer that 1 year.

May I assume that the wide angle lens may move if mounted in a car? Also can you comment as to whether the wide angle lens help with image stabilization?

@SmellyGymShorts It'll not move if in the car, outside will be to strond wind.

Lens ca not help with image stabilization, but simple tripod can. Just hold it so that it'll be comfortable with both hands and it'll create much nicer and more stable video. Steadicam is for sure better, but this method is enoght for most situations.

It's simple. Use Tripod, do not use zoom(zoom-in zoom-out), try to be more stable(do not move camera too fast

It seems like the wide angle lens softens the edges only in 720p mode but not in 1080p. Am I right or doesn't it matter which mode you choose?

It just happened, I placed lens a little bit not centered. I had mode videos after and edges were much better.

cam era is really great, especially after KODAK upgraded firmware. It's much better now in low light conditions and sound is good enough.

Just ordered the lenses for my Zi8, thanks for the video! Can you tell us what you used for video editing?

Nothing special. Editing was very primitive, just tried to match music rithm with video clips. I've used Corel Video Studio Pro, but it can be any software, even ArcSoft should work fine. Good luck.

Amazing video. I just ordered the camera and all the accessory lenses. I've been looking at video samples for this camera, for a few hours today but this one made the sale. I lived 3 blocks West of the Sears Tower for 8 months last year, and worked just 15 minutes East, I walked across these bridges and rode the "EL" every day, but I never saw my neighborhood from the river. Amazing how surreal it looks from a different perspective. Thanks for posting it.
