  • keep on protesting, who cares

  • Should have stormed the temple and burned it down. Mormons will NOT respect gay rights until they're forced to. Peaceful protests against a religious lynch mob doesn't work. There are times when using less than peaceful means is called for. Prop 8 is one of those times.

  • go lds church :)

  • this is just so funny..what is there 10 gays out there? lol

Dont know why to police didnt let them picket peacefully though ..

Oh well,,,,oooooooooooooohhhhhh the mormons ... i'm scared of them lmao

To protest, the gays should move to Canada or France ! Wee wee !

  • They are there because Utah Mormons funneled over 20 million dollars into California's

*Yes on 8* Campaign hundreds of miles away.

Payback's a fetchin flip aint it.

  • Wrong. Actually most of the money from members of the Church came from those within the state. There were donations from out of state, but not even near the amount that you're claiming.

  • Utah was the biggest source of out-of-state funding. 45% ...Three times more than any other state.

  • Excluding CA. That's where most of the money came from. The fact of the matter is that not one organization is to blame for Prop 8's passing. It's the voters. Besides, if it was mainly the "Mormon" Church that provided the means for its passing, then it wouldn't have! Members only take up about 2% of the total vote! Besides, the No camp raised about $2 mil. more than the Yes camp. If money were really the issue, don't you think it wouldn't have passed?

  • Okay, I do not understand why these people come to Temple square to protest a cause that is hundreds of miles away.

Why are they yelling church and state seperate because they are seperate.

Why did these people just now decide to target the mormon church, desregarding everyone else in the entire election who said yes, when their knowledge of Marriage = man and woman, has been arond hundreds of years?

The mormon vote on the proposition was only 2% of the total vote anyways.
