Whoa! This gives an idea for an (audio) synth circuit. Maybe it's too big for the advent calendar, but could you talk at some point about the practical implementation of a VCO that satisfies 1 V/oct in the range, say 1 kHz to 100 kHz, and doesn't deviate in the higher frequencies. (I think you can guess where I'm going with this...)
