Yep the dude is making stuff up. Would anyone believe this id a MAJOR part of the Dem. energy bill? At $1 M. per year, it's nothing. Anything to draw attention away from the Republican solution of production/ consumption, before conservation of a limited resource. The bastards would eat the last of the seed wheat, rather than be inconvenianced in the slightest. Funny video composition, only if the uptight Congress would either applaud or jeer a lot of crap would endimmediately.

Patrick McHenry for all his faults does make for great comedy with this speech. Bicycles are amazingly efficient forms of transportation that can balance out mobility and still give one a chance to connect with the outside environment. Besides, they do not pollute, they require less than 1/20th the space for parking that a car requires (even small cars), they are cheap to repair, they also are more resistant to oil shocks. Hate the gas pump? Ride a bike! Nuff said.
