Class 3 armor gives you more get up and go, letting you fight better missile duels. Probably better setup early on, although it doesn't stand up against all races.

@Diamondfist1 I would have been happy to watch the mining. But it's more about having to talk a lot while doing it, and I respect that you cannot talk alot if you were mining all the time!

My "woulda" to watch the mining videos has more to do with my high esteem and regard for Mr. ViridianGames than anything else. He knows this game inside and out, and he is a great Let's Player.

yeh i got dosbox and started playing this. After getting my feet wet I went and found some mineral rich worlds and got my ship maxed out. Sept armor, which i just baught class 3 - but wouldn't ya know I needed it when i got caught with my pants...i mean shields down.
