  • Hey everyone, this is JD Sebastian, and I wanna say a big THANKS to everyone making comments on this song, even the you guys that don't like it. I have so much fun with this song, it comes out different each time I play it, and this is just one of my arrangements. Honestly, my brain is lopsided and the creative side takes over even when I'm trying to stick to the music. Oops, sorry! (:

  • 9 people prefer Rhapsody in red

  • WOW! That was stunning! Congratulations!

  • KAWAII!!!! estuvo fenomenal me inspiraste para seguir escuchando musica clasica pero tu si le pones tu estilo aunque algo caotico, alegra el corazon. Asi reflejas mi juventud, Thank you por subirlo.

  • This is awesome! Did you make up the changes to the music yourself?

  • well just to note that masterpiece was wrote for piano solo by gershwing before being orchstrated for composer Ferde Grofé for an especial concert in usa. The piano solo was revised after the concert by gershwing and its the version we can listen rigth now this is an original version very good

  • I remain unconvinced on this one -sorry, there are many occasions here where the harmony is not quite Gershwin, and the style also changed from Gershwin's highly musical and sensitive approach to writing. Much of this here is an untasteful improvisation based on Gershwin's themes and using the performer's modern musical influences. This gentleman has got a base to work from now and if he stops goofing around I'm sure he could come up with something a little more tasteful. listen to Semprini.

  • Huh, I appreciate the use of musical interpretation...buuuut, I'm still a die hard fan of the original Gershwin Rhapsody in Blue.

  • definitely different. it doesn't have enough contrast, though. it's like all climatic.

  • This guys got an intense energy. He's trying to tap in to Heaven through playing with total abandon... that's what I get from this rambunxious but crafty interpretation

  • the song loses all meaning when played with sledge-fingers.

  • seems too heavy, Gershwin's version has some parts played delicately.

  • amazing personnal interpretation. very imaginative.

  • I don't care.

  • Really good, but I donť think this is Rhapsody in blue, almost a half of his playing is his own harmony - it's not just an interpretation.

  • wow man that was so amazing...great interpretation!!!! must damn tiring haha
