    <3!

  • @LitLBirdLitLBird Thank you, Little Bird! :)

  • All I can say is WOW!!! What a lovely voice. I would really love to hear you sing a version of "Candle On The Water" by Helen Ready. Would also enjoy "I don't know how to love him" from Jesus Christ Superstar.

  • @vaiperman Thank you so much, vaiperman!!! Thanks for the suggestions. xoxoxxo

  • @vaiperman Wow, thank you, vaiperman! I love Helen Ready and anything from Jesus C. Superstar. Thanks.

  • Hi I haven't been on you channel 4 a while , you still sound great.

  • @plastic1492 Thanks for coming back!

  • That was great! You give this song something new.

Can you do Some Day Soon ? My favorite Judy Collinns song.

  • @GypsyMofakka Thanks, GM!

  • Lovely singing - and you look like you are having a good time :)

  • I could tune my guitar by your voice. Why did I blow $15 on a tuner. Very nice.

  • @mts01464 Awww, thanks, mts!!! :)

  • @songtruth It's Michael, by the way.

  • The sour look on your face at 1:30 was truly unnecessary. You were still in key; it was just your inflection, making it YOUR song. You've got great command of your voice to have hit the high notes of the chorus.

  • @nebrpo Thank you, neb!!!

  • very nice. thanks for sharing your talents.

    Cupertino, CA.

  • @carbon4me Thanks, Cupertino! ;)

  • WOW! Sweet voice, my friend. You can truly sing. You've got a real folksinger's voice. Keep singing.

  • @TheMissouripicker Thanks, MP!!! I love folk singers.

  • Spot-on , Nice job.

  • You did that one justice, nice. So, I've noticed you've gotten the Karen Carpenter comparisons by the bucket load regarding your voice, singing style and pacing. Let me make a comparison I haven't yet seen anyone else mention. I think you look a lot like actress Christine Lahti. I've thought that watching almost every vid I've seen you do so far.

  • Thanks sweety!!!;-)) That was my favorite tune when I was a kid growing up in Hawaii. Brought back fun & poignant memories!;-)

  • Nailed it ! and you are very pretty ! ,, any other tunes?

  • O.K., it's time for you to take a bigger stage. How about American Idol or America's got talent? I'ii be looking for you - by the way, who are you?

  • Lovely version of this song! Thank you for posting.

  • I like your version the best, of course Judy's version is professional, but she's too restrained sometimes.

I like how open you were in this song, and it brightened you up on camera, very lovely. I hope and wish the very best for you.

  • I really liked it :D

I think your voice sounds a little similar to The Carpenters lead singer...

especially in the lower register with some added vibrato

    Thumbs up!

  • You've pegged this one as well.

  • realy raw realy good, like this very much.

  • your beautiful :D I'll record a version and post as a vid response to this!

  • Wonderful! I really like the lower parts.. especially the I really don't know life..at all...

Your voice sounds just perfect there.

  • You sing really nice! Kudos!

  • Nice job...hard to make it original...you did great!!! Judy, and Joni would be proud.

  • excellent job. You didn't miss a beat. Judy will give you a thumb up. I always like Judy Collins' version better than that of Joni Mitchell. It has a uptempo to it.

  • @whyicare Thank you, why! I agree; I always liked this version better.

  • @whyicare I mean, Judy Collins' version.

  • Wow, Songtruth. What a great voice. 99.9% of people on here recording for the video camera stink, but you're part of the 0.1% that actually sound good.

Keep the songs coming. And might I recommend For All We Know by The Carpenters as your next song.

I see some other songs by you are available here on YouTube. I'm going to check some of them out.

  • I see that you did perform For All We Know and it sounds great. I wish you would do a version with instruments.

  • @GuaraldiGuy Hi, GG! thank you so much! I do have a recording of that song up. it's a capella. Thanks for checking out my vids and taking the time to comment. :)

  • @4272353 Thank you!!! I am on singsnap, but I've never posted any vids there.

  • Love your body animation....you look much more alive... it adds to your persona....the timing was off in two spots but the tune was also rather more rapid than Judy Collins used to sing it....see...you do have a sweet personality...you just need to show it more often....

  • thank you russell! how did you make those notes in your comment?

  • very very sweet voice!!!! saludos desde argentina!

  • thank you, alan! :)

  • Sang it brilliantly

  • thank you, sun!

  • the pathology of your voice is very close to Joni Mitchell's the resonate frequency the reason that Judy Collins made the song famous is because she sang the song almost a full beat faster than Mitchell , what I would do if I were you would to either try writing poetry and have it set to music of find a song writer with new arangments you probably would not need lessons with the right material , I think people want to hear folk music again something new

  • thank you, j! :)

  • I love that smiley face:)

  • thank you, skip! :)

  • All I can say is WOW! You have a great voice and did Joni Mitchell proud with your rendition of her famous song. Better yet, you did this in acappella. I find when I search around for different artists singing one of my favorite songs, that I come across an unknown artist that knocks my socks off. Presently, I find myself in bare feet.

  • thank you, tv!!! although, i am using background music here. i guess it's not loud enough! i hope you're feet aren't cold!

  • You should be very proud - no one could watch you without being happy.

  • So...I've come to the conclusion that the only thing you can't sing would be that weird chant thingy that the Wicked Witch of the West's soldiers do in The Wizard of Oz. And if you indeed can sing it in the original key, well, then, I would surmise that you had grown up near some kind of nuclear power plant...

  • no, rv, i can do that too! haha. thank you! you're too kind. :)

  • You CAN?! *insert sound of mind blowing here* Wow...I can't do that unless I have a throat infection...and I DID grow up near a nuclear power plant!!!

  • Very nice job with a nice song. You have a great voice. Thanks for sharing it with us. Also, if you don't mind me saying so, you look even hotter with the straight hair, but, you still look hot either way.

  • thank you so much, doug!

  • Great job on a wonderful song. I also like your site changes. A very different look. I still prefer the curly hair, but you are beautiful either way.

  • thank you, preppy!! you're so sweet!

  • Thank you for giving us again his(her, your) beautiful voice.
