My favorite singer Tanya Tucker!!! Legend!!! Young but a LEGEND!!! I went to the River Rock Casino in Richmond B.C. I arrive late... cuz of traffic and got 2nd row...and we just came from my daughters bestfriends funeral earlier that day. I was pissed off because this is Tanya...but we got lost with wrong directions to boot! But it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!! Atleast we got half of the concert.....Your The best Tanya! Yeh George loves Tanya! I just watched her at the River Rock Casino in Vancouver in Richmond! This is the 3rd time I have seen her! Her voice is POWERFUL! She never fucks a note, and is so on tune. She knows it I think LOL! She is my hero and I wish I would have had the nerve to walk up to her to get a picture. She walked up to the end of the stage..but I was so star struck..my grren light on my camera never came on before she walked off stage. Next time I guess. I will see her again.

I've always loved Tanya's singing, and as much as I like George too, I prefer Tanya's version of this song. She has such a unique raspy kind of alto quality to her voice that is bold, yet gentle, at the same time. I think she put one over on ole George here. This looks good on you girl.....you go on girl.

@AuH2O ya just need to get ur facts straight, this is a Jones song, period.  Sung with perfection by Jones. We don't need ppl confusing others by saying that tanya's is a better version. Tanya actually sang good songs and had a good voice in the early 70s but quickly turned all pop 80s style garbage. Its nice that she'll make a CD with legit country songs now but the voice ain't there anymore. I'm not tryin to mean to her, but just to the ppl who think this is better than jones.
