its hard to hunt hear where im at every place is private owned cant even go bow hunting at the river for fear it will run onto the grass area which is trespassing if you go up there but not legal to let a dear lay wtf if you cant get owner permission to go on there you just waist
@fannar911112 Here's something interesting about mourning and white-wing dove: They essentially breed year round as far south as Texas and a mated pair can be expected to rear six clutches, conservatively, with 2 squabs per clutch. So, every mated pair contributes a six-fold increase in dove numbers. Regionally, they reproduce at a rate of 600% per year and, every year, the total number of dove suffer an attrition rate somewhere between 65% and 85% ABSOLUTELY REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR NOT...
@fannar911112 ...THERE IS ANY HUMAN HUNTING PRESSURE. In any given year, most of the dove in existence across the continent will die no matter what. They are prolific breeders that have dealt with this enormous annual die-off for millions of years. Humans during dove hunting season, even an enormous harvest, are a non-factor. I think it is wrong to be wasteful, but dove is far too fine a dish to be wrong to kill.
Hopefully you'll both come back as doves in your next life..
