I have been battling with PCOS for 10yrs now and it is really hard. It breaks my heart to know that I may not have any children when all I want to do is have them. I'm an identical twin and my twin doesn't suffer with this disease. She has a son whom I love to death. When I look at him I wonder what it would be like to have a baby. It's just not fare.
i was 16 when i found out i had pcos.. my doctor told me then and there its going to be hard for me to have kids.. i wanted to cry cuz ive always wanted kids.. im 19 now but i havent tried for kids lolol maybe in a few years ill see wat happens.. but to part 1 or this video i know how she feels.. it fucking sucks :/

I came in and told the last doctor listen, I've seen a lot of docs and if you can't help me or don't know whats going on don't waste my time... and sure enough he said I know. This was a fertility specialist though, So, he knew his stuff but it was such a relief
My gyno never diagnosed me with PCOS but I have cysts on my ovaries and a horrible menstrual cycle.
I had been resisting the birth control pill (My mother was afraid of me taking it so young) but after I had been on my period for FOUR months and counting, I finally went on it. I could not be happier right now. I am concerned about fertility for the future, but I am focused on what is working for me right now.
i got diagnosed with pcos at the age of 20. i start my menstral cycle at age 13 also and had extreme irregular cycles and bleeding. the doctor finally started doing testing when i started going to see her about 3 times a month, kept taking pregnancy tests as i didnt get a period for 8 months. a doctor at the hospital said i had a "fake pregnancy". its like i gave birth to an invisible baby. my family did blood work and finally an ultrasound to find the cysts. im hoping i can still have children
dont be worrying i suffer really bad with pcos i gave had a 8 pound cyst removed from my ovary and a further 2 ops with cysts and my weight is up all the time, my doctor told me it would be hard to have a baby but im nearly 4 months now
I make videos here on youtube that are pcos related and I don't know if you'd be interested but you would totally make my day if you checked it out! :)

i thought it was genetic. your ovaries simply have cysts. it's treated with laproscopy during which they make perforations in the ovaries and as the ovaries heal the cysts go away.
I am convinced that water fasting cured my PCOS. I water fasted for 40 days against the advice of my doctor. When I went to have a transvaginal ultrasound there are no more cysts.
I have PCOS and CELIAC DISEASE, the most undiagnosed and easily treated disease that causes stomach problems. PROBIOTICS, GLUTEN FREE AND a SIMPLE BLOOD TEST CAN TELL YOU demand the blood test. Other symptoms under or over weight, various gastric complaints, IBS, constipation, diarrhea, abdominal pain and bloating. Anemia, Crohns, PCOS, gastric ulcers, parasitic infection skin disorders, nerves, numbness in arms and legs: all COULD BE CELIAC!
love the good doctors. Even if they're not 100% correct, they're very valuable. (i think pcos is has an immune/thyroid cause but others think it's caused by diabetes or insulin resistance which comes from immune/thyroid cause)
most doctors them dismiss this as nothing and just say "lose weight", it's tragic because metabolic issues make it hard to lose. hormone imbalance can create dangerous set ups like diabetes or high cholesterol. it's not just about cramps.
"A study of female mice is suggesting that ovarian cysts may at least partially be the result of an immune system dysfunction. The gland involved is the thymus gland, which is responsible for the management of major aspects of your immune system. One of the functions of the thymus gland is to produce T-cells, which are white blood cells that help protect you from infection and also perform other important activities.(cont)
This is so scary - it sounds just like me :( the weight issues, the dark patches of skin, I can go without having a period for 6 months, facial hair (almost the same as a man's beard), thinning hair on my head, etc. -.-
I'm 26 and never had a period but I want something done about this that actually works but i've tried medication but they've not allowed me to go on the pill so its not been very effective tried losing weight over and over and it always comes back on so i'm considering a hysterectomy as a possible option cos I don't know what else to do and I just want to be normal and no more shaving my face every day like a man :-(
@Nine00 if u think missing periods is no problem wait till it gets worse the longer u don't have periods the worse it gets and u get hair on your face and body gain weight very easily which is difficult to shift or some women start losing some of the hair on thier head or have problems with libido and unable to have children i've been told by my doctor it can contribute to getting diabetes as well
so hard to be a girl, every girl will agree on this. we just have TOO MANY things we need to deal with. and all these are NO ESCAPE for us. menstruation - unavoidable.
@Libellebr Its not common to doctors for whatever reason, my hair was falling out at 15...and it took me a year and a half to get diagnosed after seeing multiple doctors. Doctors treat the symptoms individually rather than look at them as one disorder.
@Jleigh225 I can relate to that. I started with a pain in my lower right side... and it took 3 years to be diagnosed as PCOS. in that time the pain grew worse, as well as starting on my left side and the pain would shoot straight through to my back. My doctor just kept sending me for x-rays and blood tests, until he eventually said there was nothin more to do and he basically just gave up. It was only thru seein a different doctor at the same practice that I was refered and had a laparoscopy.
omg i feel for ya i have pcos was diagnosed by endo at age 20 been dealin w/ this hell for 8/9 years now goin back to endo tomorro what to cry and be put on metaformin again. i have a glimmer of hope tho has anyone heard of maca and a raw diet. i heard this works wonders. i just started taking maca because i heard its great for woman w/ pcos. hang in there iam just like you i would love to talk to you sometime ur video hits home w/ me so much godbless xxoxoxoxo
at 3:40, a pill is being washed down the sink - irresponsible, discovery health! not the way to show medication being disposed of..."throwing them away" is a different image, or should be. this is how water is contaminated.
this is so stressful i have this and oh my do i suffer im in major pain all the time and i ve seen so many drs and there was a point when even the drs thought i was just making it up. im on the fentanyl patch now due to the severe pain. i am 24 yrs old and i started having pain when i was 17 or 18. as well as her i have the weight changes from 89lb i went up to 200 nd in 3 wks i wnt down 2 110 its just crazy. it is very depressing. I UNDERTAND U GIRLS WE ARE NOT CRAZY
i have pcos but if im not on the pill i wont get my period for months and when i do get my period its always very light so im lucky but i feel bad for her
I have this, but just cause you miss a period doesnt mean you have it.. with PCOS you actually had cysts on your ovaries you need to get an ultrasound to confirm and also a horomonal imbalance and you would usually have to be medicated to balance them out
this is like WORST case scenario... not alot of people have PCOS this bad... because so far with me its not to too bad, but maybe will get worse as i age
@scwxxo I did have an ultrasound and there weren't any cysts. I do however have a hormonal imblance but apparently all I can do to balance that out is take the pill which I don't want to. If all it does is making me miss periods and don't see why that is so terrible.
I have just been diagnosed with Polisystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and this really is worst case scenario, I really do not envy this woman.. She's had it tough
I've missed my period last month so now I worry that I might have PCOS. I feel like a hypochondriac now. I'm actually underweight and have been all my life plus I stopped taking birth control without any problems.
@Nine00, um, girls miss there period all the time. Lol. You should only be worried if u have missed 3+ periods in a row. I, along with every other girl I know, skip them all the time.
@WillyyyV hm, i believe it's normal if you miss or get irregular periods before your 20s, but by then you shld have regular period. i have NEVER missed a period in my entire 23 yr old life, only perhaps once when i was 15? And I had infection before, have to be on antibiotics, etc.

PCOS is one of the hardest things to deal with!!! I know first hand I have almost all those symptoms including low blood sugar & I'm only 20 I wouldnt wish this on my worst enemy its no way to live espeacially if you're allergic to the metformin the main to fix for this
A bit exaggerated. All physicians know this. I am a bit surprised that her prior physicians never brought up this syndrome and not even mentioned the name of the syndrome.
im 19 found out i have PCOS 3 months ago... after missing 3 periods... i have hirutsm.. its like all over the place... i feel like a man.. im not obese though...
I have been told I have PCOS but I dont have ANY of these symptoms except my irregular cycle and severe symptoms. But I ahve also been told that if I lose weight I will be ok.
No extra body hair no skin issues or major anything..still PCOS it can happe to anyone and it sucks..but life goes on..im just thankful that i dont have it as bad as this lady..
I actually Have Pcos and my doctor said brith control will help fight it off. I also cut out carbs for a while. I'm also drinking apple cider vinger in filtered water. I hope this all works.
No one is quite sure what causes PCOS. Although women with PCOS often have a mother or sister with the condition, there is not enough scientific evidence to prove that the condition may be inherited. The ovaries of women with PCOS frequently contain a number of small cysts, hence the name poly (many) cystic ovarian syndrome.
What about when you're diagnosed with PCOS but you don't have the abnormalities, or cysts, just an irregular menstrual cycles? I have been to docs since 16, and never had any abnormal insulin levels, am overweight, no thyroid probs. Wilson's Syndrome is more what I think is going on, but docs swear PCOS.
(cont part 2) I even had weight loss surgery 7 years ago and lost all the weight (happens when you eat about 400 cal a day) but when my body normalized again and i could eat normal food again i gained again and still never had a period. So i did a ton of reading online and in text books but no one believed me till i paid for elective tests blood work and sonogram and turns out i do have PCOS. Just because you lack a symptom doesn't mean you don't have PCOS .
I have had this issue from the start the only thing was I didnt have the extra body hair. For 2 years now i have been begging doctors to test me for PCOS but they said no because i didn't have the body hair. Guess what I just had a sonogram done finally less then a month ago im now on metformin and the PCOS diet (youtube - 7 diet tips for pcos) and im finally losing weight and feeling better. ... (cont)
I've got lean pcos amongst other disorders. It's perhaps more frustrating for me dealing with this because 99% of the treatments are for obese pcos - losing weight, metformin, etc. It's too bad they didn't mention the two different types.
@EbonynIvory83 - I ended up seeing an gynecological endocrinologist. They did lots of tests and put me on appropriate medication. I had to fiddle around to get the proper dosage of hormones as some made me very sick. I also stay away from chocolate and caffeine.
@TheologianRBK thanks for the tip! I drink Coffee everyday with loads of sugar and cream. Im over the hair growth, depression, missed periods and fear of never having children.
I have this condition and it really is a living nightmare x the only difference is i'm 25 and never started my periods but my doctor won't even help me properly till i lose at least 2 stones x i just feel like my life is not worth living purely because of my symptoms and the way it makes me look x
I have PCOS I started my period at 9 yrs. I was quite fit but due to my periods my Doc put me on Pill and I gained 2 stone. It's then that I started with Builemia. It was only after having my son at 24 that I found out I had PCOS. Im on metformin and reductil to aid weight loss im doing ok but my eating disorder keeps rearing its head even now at 35yrs.
I was diagnosed with PCOS and my doctor send me to take medroxyprogesterone 5mg tablets, but I am afraid to take it because one of the possible side effects is: breast cancer, I dont know what is worst to have PCOS or to take this medication, there is any other ways to control PCOS with out taking this medication?
im gng back to the doctors this week to ask to get put on metformin i hope i have sme joy. im so glad u lost 8 pounds wow, i not sure how my hubby puts up with me im so moody. dont u want children if u dont mind me asking. u can get other medication for acne
You can lose weight too :) I just count my calories, avoid starchy foods, and work out once a day...I do allow for "treats" here and there so I won't "cave" in. I do love chocolate!
I've tried over 5 different pills for my acne but none have worked as well as the pill. I have been acne-free for 5 months now and I'm so glad.
As for children, well...I have two younger sibs with autism and growing up was really hard...motherhood looked difficult, so I never wanted kids. That's all.
The worst part of PCOS is the weight gain. People teased me so badly that I always felt like sh!t. All my life I've been fat and made to feel like I'm this way because I'm lazy. No one seems to think a medical condition could be the cause.
When I lose weight I'll drop 40 pounds and then gain it back in 3 months. My body fights to get the weight back.
It must be sad to have your period at 13. I'm a guy, but my mother is a nurse, so she answers anything I ask, we're pretty open about things like that. But...I mean this is very sad.
i hate doctors that don't take the time to address genuine concerns like this. there are some doctors that really care, that are in the profession to help others, and then there are those that just are in it for the cash flow.
@christentze Yeah, I had a doctor once that should've realized I had PCOS and he kept telling me to just lose weight and he put me on provera which wasn't good. It wasn't until I started seeing a new doctor and recently got a ultrasound done to know for sure I had PCOS.
I never went to a weight loss center or camp, but I was able to lose 30 lbs or so, I was so small. Later when my mother and cousin drove up, she noticed how small I was. My weight was up and down during my time at college.
They did but all they said is that it's just a normal hormonal problem and gave them birth control pills. You don't understand that this is hard to detect and is a rare syndrome. It took doctors a year to figure out what I had, taking out my blood to test it every Friday, douche.
I did not go to the doctor for a long time, because my mom had the same experience. But she does not have it. My doctors thought that it was just hormones.
hi, im only 15 years old, my doctors think i have pcos, its so devastating, i cry myself to sleep everynight, do you ever think i will be able to get pregnant?
@kim24may I used portion control. It was hard. I started eating over 50 percent less. I have a baby now after 5 years of infertility treatments. I did it myself by losing the weight. It is very hard and it took me over a year to get the weight off. Many people get put on metformin to help process your sugars. (Any sugar you take in will be processed incorrectly-this is the reason most people that have PCOS are overweight.) Good luck!
hi, yes it is possible to become pregnant with pcos, alot of women do its just a bit more difficult and may take time to become pregant but like the girl in the video the doctors were able to help her and she said two children :) so dont worry women will pcos can get become pregnant dont cry
i didnt learn much about this, but PCOS was mentioned in one of my pharmacy classes not too long ago. i did not realize how many girls have it! all the comments on this page are shocking to me.
I have been battling weight issues my whole life and I was teased and considered fat and lazy. It wasn't til I was 29 that PCOS was diagnosed. Now I'm battling to have a baby even though I have lost 20kg and am fit and healthy. I have suffered 4 miscarriages and Drs won't acknowledge that there is a connection between PCOS and miscarriage :(
@gumnutbaby74 U might have a progestrone profiencey...you should ask your doctor to prescribe you natural progesterone cream..not the synthetic crap made of wild yams but natural cream. You start the cream the daY after you ovulate you use it until your period starts or until yu get a positive pregnancy test you continue to use it until you4 4-5 month of pregnancy.Progesterone aids in conception
I actually do research on obesity & PCOS at Cornell University. I have personally seen through ultrasound images & changes in follicle development in the ovary that when a women loses significant weight, she can regain fertility and normal follicle development. Although many women w/PCOS are insulin-resistant, insulin receptors on the ovary remain sensitive- this along w/increased circulating hormones prevents a dominant follicle from being released every month for ovulation.
It's so weird to hear what the doctors were saying to her because they said the same exact thing to me. "It's hormones. Here take this pill" and "oh it's just stress. It will pass" and the good ol "You're body is adjusting now that it's off the birth control." I heard all of those before I was diagnosed with pcos.
some tips from a lean cyster (i have hypothyroidism too)... eliminate high fructose corn syrup from your diet completely. esp if you're prone to diabetes and high cholesterol (ldl or triglycerides). stay away from white starches, processed prepackaged foods, gluten if you have trouble with it and do your best to avoid sugar.
this is how I kept my glucose/triglycerides/LDL way down with PCOS. It also makes it easier to lose weight. Also, check Vit D and iodine levels.
In medical school, doctors are told repeatedly NOT to look for rare diseases when diagnosing a patient. So if you have a rare disease, you end up going from one doctor to another, and all of them misdiagnose your problem.
Her father was sweet to see something like that and give her the opportunity to help her lose weight and give her the support that a father should.
That would suck to have a weight problem like that... up and down over and over. Having to deal with having a beard is totally embarrassing. You have to shave like every day, unless you go to get it waxed, which hurts like hell.
Alot of times it is good to see a younger doctor. They have the newest information available to them.
i had periods every 2 wks so mom took me to doc said it mght be pcos but we are waiting another month bcuz i have thyroid disease i also have the hair growth and i find out soon if it ispcos m 15 btw
i too have been diagnosed with PCOS. but fortunately i didn't suffer too much hair growth in unusual places. i do have irregular periods, though. my gynecologist advised me to take anti androgen pills [diane-35] i took it for 3 months and then stopped because i didn't like the side effects of the that pill i was taking. is it really that hard to conceive for people like us who have PCOS??? =( i'm still not sexually active.
well i have been sexually active for 5 years and nothing. im working on it though. like everyone i have a down day or two. but its comforting to know there are other people the same
How could it have possibly take them that long to diagnose her? PCOS isn't exactly unheard of, considering that something like 1 in 10 women have it. The instant the first doctor heard the words, "Weight gain and extra body hair", he should have known what was going on.
i'M GOING THROUGH THE SAME THING YOU ARE GOING THROUGH. I'M 23 YEARS AND FOUND OUT ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO THAT I HAD PCOS. I'M TRIED AND DON'T WANT TO GET OUT OF BED AT TIMES. CONGRATS FOR HAVING A BABY
god that weight going off and on like that would have been a nightmare! It really affects your self esteem... and then to find out that her disease often causes infertility really stings, because no matter what you do, you're going to have a very hard time conceiving a child forever.
Oh, the poor thing! I can't imagine what that must do to your self-esteem, especially when you're so young. To have that weight roller coaster, hair growth and skin tags! I used to have horrible periods when younger, and did actually have an accident in class once, which was just horrific for me. Poor thing, I can't imagine leaving a puddle of blood though. The women who live and cope with this have got to be really brave.
I don't know if these sorts of things are really a malpractise or laziness issue.... the field of healthcare is constantly changing, and if a doctor doesn't constantly continue his/her education, then this is what happens. I didn't get my diagnosis for my chronic disease until I saw a younger doctor who was more familiar with new things and new research.
I was just to the DR and told that I likly have pcos. My Hubby and I have been trying to concieve, I went off the pill a while ago and I have gained 30 lbs and keep trying to lose weight and I am screwed now.
I found out I had PCOS when I was 16 yrs. old. I am now almost 28 and I have 1 child who is 4 yrs. old. I had an extremely difficult pregnancy. God brought me through it and he is my little miracle baby!!
My mom has, me and all my sisters. There is a 50/50 chance a girl baby wont have it if it only runs in the family on one side, but usually around the time puberty hits is when symptoms will show if they do have PCOS.
Now over a year later I still have not done lab work and have not been back to the doctor. I am off my metformin. I don't have health insurance and don't know how to get the help I need and I get SO depressed where I don't want to get out of bed. I have to tweeze and shave my face daily, I just feel gross and manly. I want help so bad but don't know where to start.
ok there is help go to ur doctor ask for the lab banding thats wat i am gettin done soon yah i feel same as u stressed out hair everywer weight gain so yeah
I have been batteling this my whole life and I want nothing more than to have a baby. I took Clomid for 9 months and nothing happened. I didn't ovulate at all. I felt like I was emotionally ready to go back to the doctor again last year. When I went he did a sonogram and it was obvious I had PCOS and I was suppose to do lab work and go back. He put me on Metformin which did nothing but make me sick.....
I just wanted to share with everyone, that I've recently been diagnosed with PCOS and I was prescribed Metformin by my doctor... but I dont like taking prescriptions, so I did some research on natural alternatives.... I've switched to taking chromium Picolinate, its amazing! My periods are back, i've lost 12lbs without even changing my diet or exercising i experience no side effects like i did while taking metformin.... its also much more affordable. Try it! Just thought i'd Share my Story! =]
i just been diagnosed with pcos today, but i went 9 months with out a period so i had it for a long time, i never had regular periods,
i was just wondering if, weight gein is gauranteed despite of eating well and regular excersise?
im really paranoid because im rly consious of my weight, always have been, although im "slim" 8.1/2 stone. some one cb? preferbly email so i can reply privately
ive gained over 50 pounds in the past year. i have lots of unwanted hair. and no period. i get made fun of on a daily basis.
everyone around me acts like its no big deal, like pcos is nothing to worry about . the doctor just gave me pills and sent me on my way. any advice or info you could give me?? message me if you do. i need help
I have had the dark patches on my arms since i was little... but my mom always either said it was dry skin or dirt... i would scub so hard I would bleed and nothing would happen. i would put tones of lotion on every day and nothing would happen. To this day i still wear a hoodie in july to hide my elbows, and i still dont ware tank tops to hide the rest of my arms. I never knew what it was until about 3 days ago when i was diagnosed with PCOS.
The skin discoloration is acanthosis nigricans. I have it, too and used to do the same thing. My grandpa would always yell at me to go scrub my neck. I know how embarrassing it is to wear short sleeves in the summer. I have it around my neck also. You're not alone. I'm 27 and have been dealing with it since puberty.
My question is: When are they going to finally realize that this is a problem? This is NOT a "syndrome", it's a freakin disease!!! They aren't even looking for a cure or a viable treatment that takes care of ALL the symptoms even though this DISEASE affects 1 in 10 women! Most doctors aren't even aware of the problem, so I know no one makes a big deal of it. It's a big deal to us, though.
The only difference between syndrome and disease is the qualifications. For it to be a disease there has to be a set number of symptoms and you have to have said number to have the disease. In a syndrome there are many symptoms which you may have a few or many of them. That is the only difference. They are def. researching it a lot more. I can understand your view tho it never feels like they are doing enough, just have hope we have come a long way in this problem.
It is really depressing, I agree. But keep the hope. I am now down to 159 (WOW) due to a glucophage regiment and I am trying to have a baby. The hair and the weight will always be a problem, but it gets easier to bear and deal with. Hopefully, they will label it the disease that it is, one day, and find a cure for us.
Anyways when the Woman doctor told me I had PCOS I was clearly upset as I used to starve myself and walk for 4 miles a day just anything to keep my weight down the lighest I got to is 9 stone
I had an ultrasound and was diagnosed with PCOS a cyst on one of my ovary's
I never got skin tags but my weight was ten stone which is heavy when I should be 8 stone maximum
It's also IMPOSSIBLE to lose weight a absolute nightmare I went on a no carb diet and I woke up in the middle of the night starving and yet I had enough belly fat to keep me going

I hate my PCOS. I have so much hair that I have to shave my whole body, chin, stomach chest, everything every day. I feel like a freak. I had to go off of my spironolactone to try to conceive and all hormonal hell broke loose. This just sucks....
I have been battling with PCOS for 10yrs now and it is really hard. It breaks my heart to know that I may not have any children when all I want to do is have them. i thought it was genetic. your ovaries simply have cysts. it's treated with laproscopy during which they make perforations in the ovaries and as the ovaries heal the cysts go away.

Boring case... PCOS is not a mysterious diagnosis. It is quite common actually.
Libellebr 1 year ago
@Libellebr Its not common to doctors for whatever reason, my hair was falling out at 15...and it took me a year and a half to get diagnosed after seeing multiple doctors. Doctors treat the symptoms individually rather than look at them as one disorder.
Jleigh225 1 year ago
@Jleigh225 I can relate to that. I started with a pain in my lower right side... and it took 3 years to be diagnosed as PCOS. in that time the pain grew worse, as well as starting on my left side and the pain would shoot straight through to my back. My doctor just kept sending me for x-rays and blood tests, until he eventually said there was nothin more to do and he basically just gave up. It was only thru seein a different doctor at the same practice that I was refered and had a laparoscopy.

RaybRay89 2 years ago

It really annoys me that PCOS has such a basic cure (very low carb diet) but women afflicted with this disorder are NOT encouraged to eat it.
It's not good enough to do low GI.
It's not good enough to avoid sugar or fructose.
You need to eat a diet that is truly just above ketosis. 60 or less will do it.
The goal is to reduce insulin release as much as possible.
Try it. Promise it will work.
My PCOS was worse than hers. I am almost entirely asymptomatic now.

I was diagnosed with PCOS in feb. Weight has always been an issue for me, and I've had horrible acne, insulin resistance, and menstrual cramps.
Now that i'm on a good dose of metformin and yaz I'm feeling better and I've lost 8 pounds in 3 weeks with proper diet and working out everyday.
I'm not planning to have children. I'm scared to go off the pill because then my acne and weight would come back.

That's all.
DreamCatcher68 2 years ago
The worst part of PCOS is the weight gain. People teased me so badly that I always felt like sh!t. All my life I've been fat and made to feel like I'm this way because I'm lazy. No one seems to think a medical condition could be the cause.
When I lose weight I'll drop 40 pounds and then gain it back in 3 months. My body fights to get the weight back.

I actually do research on obesity & PCOS at Cornell University. I have personally seen through ultrasound images & changes in follicle development in the ovary that when a women loses significant weight, she can regain fertility and normal follicle development. Although many women w/PCOS are insulin-resistant, insulin receptors on the ovary remain sensitive- this along w/increased circulating hormones prevents a dominant follicle from being released every month for ovulation.

some tips from a lean cyster (i have hypothyroidism too)... eliminate high fructose corn syrup from your diet completely. esp if you're prone to diabetes and high cholesterol (ldl or triglycerides). stay away from white starches, processed prepackaged foods, gluten if you have trouble with it and do your best to avoid sugar.
this is how I kept my glucose/triglycerides/LDL way down with PCOS. It also makes it easier to lose weight. Also, check Vit D and iodine levels.

They have the newest information available to them.

god that weight going off and on like that would have been a nightmare!

I don't know if these sorts of things are really a malpractise or laziness issue.... the field of healthcare is constantly changing, and if a doctor doesn't constantly continue his/her education, then this is what happens. I have to tweeze and shave my face daily, I just feel gross and manly. I want help so bad but don't know where to start.

Women doctors can be so bitchy
