Swing revival

Save Ferris and Reel Big Fish are ska-punk, a similar style, but not quite the same. Brian Setzer's Orchestra is swing/jazz, but again doesn't have the same energy and feel.

I'd check out Juizy Blazz Shakeup on myspace. They're an indie band near me who are very similar to the Cherry Poppin' Daddies, and I'm sure you'd love them.

I think Fishbone is the closest match you'll find for a band like the Daddies. Other good mentions would be Ween, early Oingo Boingo, Butthole Surfers, some of Talking Heads and Elvis Costello, and to a lesser extent, Ozomatli, Faith No More and They Might Be Giants.

They're a freakin' hodgepodge, man...
