  • thats big..

  • y is there a cowcatcher on the tender?

  • @nerfreak01 These Santa Fe steamers were actual locos, built in the early 1900s. They were so massive, they couldnt be turned around, so they put a cowcatcher on the back of the tender as well, for cautionary reasons, mainly when backing up.

  • I came to see the engine, but heard what sounded like the "F" bomb at 3:35. Bonus material!!

  • @carl23401 That was the my Macaw, he says "Rocky", not the "F" bomb, Nice attention to detail...

  • thats awesome

  • yup, its a small centipede.

  • anyone notice the little bug at 2:05?

  • @TPBX225 Looks like a centipede or a milipede.

  • I believe thats my bird yelling in the background.

  • Is there someone shoutin'?

  • I really like this train, probably my favorite.

  • Bout time this train got justice. I remember when u could only own.one of these if u could find that ho scale brass one, or make it urself

  • Just under $2000.00

  • Hey u... do u think UNDER $2000.00 isn't expensive at all?! I'm trying to buy myself a BRAND NEW Lionel BNSF ES44AC that costs $849.99; It's VERY EXPENSIVE!!! I'm NOT trying to insult you, but just sayin' though! :) $S$S$

  • this is incredible, how much did it cost?

  • WOW, that must of really depleted u of all ur money! OUCH

  • Thanks, I really like it!

  • awesome

  • that thing is a monster

  • Hey, a centipede was by the track at 2:10. I think he liked the engine too.

  • Yes, the big mechanical moves on the right side, as it does on the left. Next time i pull it out I'll video the right side. I also have another video called Part 2 that may have that already, I don't remember. T

They are AWESOME trains, I wish I had a permanant layout, so that I could leave them out.

  • Hello. Great train. I bought one just like it. I was wondering if anyone knew if the big mechanical are on the right side of the train moves back and forth when running, or is it staionary? In this segment, you only show the left side when running. I was hoping to see the right side mechanics moving. Let me know. Thanks

  • smoke to similuate the blowdown valve being opened. ohh my lord am i in love. lionel is SUPERIOR TO ALL TOY TRAIN COMPANIES.

  • i love it

  • @snowmantrains I do too, just wish they were a little more affordable.

  • Could you show some of the quilling of the whistle on the Legacy remote as well as on the engine with the steam whistle effects?

  • @PereMarquette1223

I did the best I could. Unfortuately, the color of our walls don't help with showing off the quilling and the smoke that pouirs out of the whistle. I also just posted a detailed video of the cab, hope you like it.

  • WOW!!!! That was a great video thanks for showing the beast articulate!!! Do you think you could show another video of the interior with the tender removed?

  • @aocruiser

I can do that, probably won't be until next weekend, so look out for it. The video you viewed was my first you tube post, im glad you liked it.
