I've been riding the trails on the northeast side of town for a little over a year. This video has encouraged me to do the Tom Mays trails.

Please support your state parks and pay your park fees. Our parks are a great resource and it takes money to maintain them.

The spiny plant in question is known as ocotillo.

@Thed762, I'm not exactly sure. It was my 2nd time around, but I think it was the short loop. I remember it looping back up E, towards the mountain, and ending on a jeep trail....then about 1 mile of road back to the parking lot.
