I wouldn't classify those marks on the Busse as "pitting". They didn't come from corrosion. Also how would bead-blasting protect against corrosion? You are increasing the surface area and creating area for moisture to collect.

One question--you kept saying you bead blasted stuff to improve rust resistance? I'm kinda confused by that since it contradicts everything I've ever read about that. Did you mean sandblasting maybe? Or just that it holds oil better? Anon's knife is really cool--love the style and your handles look SUPER clean. The Busse looks ridiculously badass with the black reptilian scales. Oh, how thick is the D2 guy now? Looks monstrous.
