which famous picture of the Major in front of the gateway? didn't know there was a picture of Dick Winters at Brécourt. The only one I know of is him standing in front of Landgoed Schoonderlogt near Elst in Holland.

I visited Brecourt Manor myself with my dad a couple summers back, and saw the memorial to Easy Company. Though we couldn't get onto the field itsself, it was still a great place to visit. Though it's just a field now, actually having been there and having known what happend at that site, it was a very moving experience.
