I see Oreskovich with a good CLEAN hit on Prospal, Gilroy skate over and give a push or 2, and Oreskovich doing the only thing he knows how and dropping the gloves and punching wildly. So did Gilroy "instigate" a fight after a clean hit? Debatable, but he was NOT the first one to drop his gloves. If Oresk doesn't drop his gloves, maybe theres no fight, so how can Gilroy be the "instigator?"

Do you even know who Victor Oreskovich is? He's not an enforcer or a goon. He had 2 penalty minutes in his 5 AHL games. Everyone keeps giving praise to Gilroy for making an effort in his first NHL fight, nobody has acknowledged that it was Oreskovich's first pro fight as well. Oreskovich is a 2nd round draft pick (55th overall) in 2004. There's a reason Matt Gilroy was never drafted. This has to be an American thing, who else would whine this much over a great hit and a beat down.
