As of this morning 6/9/2010, 1.4 million people face losing their healthcare insurance because someone "snuck" some provision into the bill. Like Beck said, it was important to "be consistent in SAYING to people...." Keywords "consistent in SAYING." Misconceptions were on the left and remain so to this day. Just google it and find out for yourselves.

Remember this broken promise when Election Day rolls around. If he didn't want this, he could've vetoed the bill, but he didn't.
It doesn't matter what someone else did, he is held accountable as the president, that is why he was elected to guide and make decisions for us. We see how that worked out for us. He has kept no promises. Our Country is falling apart and ignorant people play like there blind and say everyone is over reacting, but we'll see what they say when they become a victim of the so called, "CHANGE."
I think you missed the whole point. Nobody is saying Obama snuck in these provisions himself. Beck is saying that people were concerned about the language of the bills from the very start. Those people were called liars and fearmongers. Yet Obama kept telling us that we could keep our plans/doctors under these bills. If you read the bills its pretty clear that this is not the case. So are you saying that Obama had absolutely NO IDEA what was in these bills he has been selling to us?
I'll try to re-word that which was pretty clear to begin with: Obama tried to keep it one way, but over time it was changed. When he saw the changes, he made the statement in this video.
There is no proof that Obama has personally tried to alter any of the legislation himself (if thats what you think he is saying.) But I can easily point to the areas within the bills that raised alarm bells last year. The key point here is that there is nothing NEW that has people concerned about keeping their doctor, etc. It has been in there from the start.
@krapulous I agree that what Glenn did was manipulative, but...at the same time, I have to question why these provisions were snuck-in in the first place if he was campaigning for this bill since LAST year stating that they wouldn't be present. Why did he not know about these provisions? And if he did...why did he tell the American public on 4 separate occasions that they weren't present?
