Great stuff! The Bay City Rollers' cover version of The Four Season's "Bye Bye Baby" was a very fine single, and spent 6 weeks at the very top of the UK singles charts - deservedly, imho - in March and April of 1975.

As a child, growing up in Norwich during the 1970's, I always thought that The B.C.R'.s single, "Bye Bye Baby" was similar to a classic song by The Beatles - "She Loves You " - which had topped the charts some 12 years earlier, in 1963.

Considering this was the height of Rollermania, the girls in the audience look rather subdued.

I guess that even in those halycon days of 1975, not EVERY female in the land - between the ages of 11 and 18 - had the hots for The Bay City Rollers.That said, the B.C.R.'s were unquestionably the teen sensations of Britain at the time "Bye Bye Baby" was number 1 in the charts.

Back in March of 1975, i certainly did not have the hots for The Rollers! (Hardly surprising, really,given that i was only 10 - and male!)

One of the most horrible remakes and nr.1's ever...grhhhh...for the Four seasons with Frankie Valli were actually quite decent.
