There are several Lupin spin offs. There are 5 feature films, 20 plus television movie specials, 3 television series (the one you are refering to is the second one also known as the red jacket series and is the most well known one due to it being the only one licensed in America when it comes to tv series) and 3 OVAs. Lupin was originally a manga started in 1967. Been 40 years going and it's still great. They need to licence more of the series here in America but its a niche audience so yeah
