I suffer from chronic illness due to Lyme disease--and it is people like this who are to blame. Whackos (humble opinion, here) like this have made doctors all around the country terrified to even touch Lyme cases, let alone diagnose and treat them. You want to scream about injustice and need for change? Look in the friggin' mirror, Pat. My diagnosis came far too late for simple treatment to remedy--because hysterics like you have made Lyme a taboo subject. Now, I have lupus. Thanks a lot.

Lyme disease is best NOT treated by medical professionals. They have a vested interest in looking the other way when you tell them you have Lyme. It's because the pharmaceuticals cost so much the insurance won't cover it for an extended period of time.

The salt/C protocol is far superior anyway than any of these harmful prescription drugs. If you want true health don't get it from today's medicine men - they are pimps for the pharmaceutical companies.

This is truly a 'silent' disease. I've had Lyme 12 yrs. I went from a vibrant, attractive, woman to a 240lb glob with more medical ailments than I can list. I went on disability ret 7 yrs ago based on CFIDS, 2 yrs later I was dx with Lyme, about 6+ yrs too late..3 yrs of abx (w/14 mon IV Rocephin) & there are more Lyme bugs than ever in my body. I tell folks 'I have chronic Lyme' & they ALWAYS answer "oh" - blank faces, NO clue. Pat - YOU are an ANGEL! THANK YOU for you energy, words & SMARTS!

Thanks for putting together this video. What a shame. People in Pallone's community in Long Branch, NJ (he has an office there) are shocked at the negligence. People have died from Lyme disease in his own town, and the community is shocked at his actions and association with a group of doctors who are being investigated for corruption. Pallone and this group of doctors are blocking a bill which would provide research and education for such a devastating disease. Makes no sense to me.

Right, so what if I'm young and my parents don't allow me to buy things online? Find that difficult. And no, I was educated on my own through research. They're the ones who did something wrong.

Fortunately, there's not much need to buy things. While there are numerous things you can do to fight Lyme, one of the simplest and cheapest is also the most effective. You just need the right kind of salt (not table salt) and vitamin C. Large doses of each. Join the lymestrategies group on yahoo for exact details.

I have made tremendous gains in the past 2 years mostly using salt and vitamin C, up to 15 grams of each daily. Realsalt is what I use but you could use a good celtic sea salt.

Eek! I already have high doses of salt each day, and my doctor said it's going to become bad for me if I don't stop. But I'll try to up Vitamin C doses, I guess it's common sense, no? Builds immune systems.

Salt is NOT bad for you. It is essential. Mind you, as long as it is not table salt, and has had all the minerals processed out of it. I have anecdotal evidence from many people who have taken 10 to 20 grams a day that it has actually helped them normalize blood pressure. Read about Himalayan Crystal Salt. lucky you- apparently you haven't had it for 25 years, because the salt vit c, silver etc.. does nothing to cure malaria/babesia and bartonella and old very comfortable lyme-

Excellent video. Lyme disease is the fastest growing infectious disease in our country, infecting up to 200,000+ people each year. Once this disease is Chronic, it's very difficult, sometimes impossible, to cure. What reason could Mr. Pallone possibly have for denying a bill that would provide education and research monies about a growing epidemic affecting his own constituents, and the entire country?
