She's a good singer, but I think Sky's version of the song is trying too hard to be 'different' from the Stevie Nicks version, and as a result it loses a lot of the power of original. The way she shortens the notes in the chorus in particular makes Sky Ferreira's version seem fairly watered down and dull compared to Stevie Nicks belting out her vocals.

As far as covers go, this is a pretty good one (coming from a big Stevie Nicks fan), but it's almost just good as it's own song, I don't really hear it as "stand back", it definitely doesn't have the energy that the original one does

I went catatonic when the original dropped almost THIRTY years ago - and it is my favorite song of all time. THIS is a totally fresh, current, and "make it your own" cover. It is exactly what a good cover does. GREAT JOB SKY!

her voice isn't bad, but my problem with the original stevie nicks version and this version is that it seems more like a way to make an instant hit with the techno beat and slightly smothers her voice. still no comparision to stevie.

@nickH2009 nah, i don't know about that. but i know that it's really difficult to figure out how to do it. just convert to the mp3s for now. it really helps when you use the site to convert any youtube video you want (preferably the hq ones). sometimes there might be an error, but 90% of the time the site won't have an issue. if there is some error, just go back in an hour or so, or just keep trying with the same song. the results are amazing!

@nickH2009 all you have to do is go to video2mp3(net) and copy and paste the link of this video (or any other youtube video for that matter) into the conversion bar, and select high quality. then all you do is just wait for the download (be sure to have itunes as your default music player on your computer) and then when it's finished, open the download. it will then open to your itunes directly, and it will be available to listen and put into your ipod immediately.
