@donnabutterfly21 . It's a year later so I'm guessing you no longer need or already have the answer, but I thought it would be helpful for others to know his name. I too tried to find out after seeing the DVD and returning the film. His name is Varoujan Setian, and it seems as if he died in 2003, just after the making of the movie.

It's too bad, he seems like such an amazing person.
