I saw Calvin Cooke live at Common Ground on the hill a few weeks ago . . . closest thing I've been to church in a LONG time . . . and I'll tell you one thing, Calvin Cooke and his band saved my soul!

@sacredstrings No, thank you for posting all those spirit filled praises feel like i was there to here some of these legends the ones still here and servants called home. I've started trying to mess around on 6 string lap steel since i went to Bishop Eunice Treadway's funeral where Sonny had God working through him to light the chuch on fire. It wasn't even a funeral anymore for a few minutes. Sometimes I wanna give up, but I keep trying it's been about 8 months or more.

And they say the CHURCH is full of nothing but women. Not the case here! I'm enjoying this video and seeing so many men in the house, dancing for the LORD. Calvin, I remember you back in the day, down in Alabama. Keep up the good work, brother. Keep posting.
