Great shot, great video! Nothing like taking your first deer with a bow, I will never forget my first one :) You put a great shot on that deer Tanner! How far was the shot, like 27-30 yards?
Gotta tell you.....this video was AWESOME!! What a cool deal to be able to watch your son shoot his first deer with a bow from inside your house!! Looks like you let him carry the responsibility for it too by field dressing and dragging the animal back to the house, all by himself. All I can say is.... "Great job Tanner!"
What is wrong with the people that have nothing but negative stuff to say about this video? Seriously, what is wrong with you? I don't talk crap about your home videos. This was a great home video tnord. I am sorry that people have to ruine it for you and your family and to you DeliberateCruelty, do you want to know what hunting teaches kids??!! It teaches kids respect, discipline, patients, conservation of the environment and most important it teaches them firearm safety.

I am glad you are still able to distinguish the difference between animals and humans, some of your peers have slipped so far as to group humans with animals. It was a quick, clean kill.
Congradulations. I have never got one with my bow. I almost had one opening day but my arrow fell off the rest and the deer ran. Congradulations again.
Way too cool that was an awesome video. I wish my Dad had taught me more. I had to learn it all the hard way. Maybe we will get to see a new one this year.
Great job. Your dad is instilling skills in you that will last a life time. Remember everything he teaches you, in the woods and out. You will treasure those lessons when you are an adult.
The area was central Minnesota, yes it went perfect, late fall and the stand was set for a South wind which is rare that time of year but it happened and he ended up sitting for a grand total of about an hour and a half.
Totally awesome video...that was cool how you were a stand off camera guy showing the hunt from a distance and zoomin in on both Tanner and the Deer...great job, cool video and excellent hunt.
Congrats Tanner, thats a beauty button buck and a great shot you made too *****
