I want to record game videos on Black Ops but I can't if I have to have it connected to the computer.

    PLEASE HELP!!!!!

  • @DavinDaGeek So do you plug it to your game, and tv, record and then put it on your computer? or do you have to have to plug it into your computer, and tv, and game to record.

  • @iRaGePsYcHoTiC I have a video on how to hook it up copy and past this.

    watch?v=9ImhxfRENaw

  • This card doesn't even work on XP for me. So I decided to first test this thing up on my Vista, and it works perfectly, but I needed to capture my wii so I needed to use my XP that is close by. So I do everything on the XP and it doesn't work, says the device is not working properly and there is a black screen. So I thought it might be because the computer is so old, but then I tried it on my other newer XP, and still nothing. Working on Vista and not on XP? WHAT?!

  • @Ihaveapsp Hmm I have no idea, to tell you the truth I don't even have an xp computer to even test this on. Hmm Maybe you should go to a user on here named Daddy jamesfilmes. His username is james25313 he might be able to help you on this one, He has a lot of xp computers and he owns this capture card. So maybe you can ask him.

  • Why everytime I download the driver then I download the software a error comes up... does the diamond work with Vista 32 bit?

  • @GAJ628 Yes it does work with vista 32bit. You might need to get in contact with Diamond and see if they can assist you with some help.

  • Yes there are some others but they only work with hd t.v and that is the hd pvr and the black magic intensity pro

  • im the 1000 view =[)

  • @NBKLostArmy Woot =0

  • Does this work for the MacBookPro

  • @SdWxLasSer5 I don't think it does.

  • I sometimes get the message internal encoder error and it stops recording. How do i fix this.

  • Haha hilarious ( 4:20 )

  • hauppauge is the most popular

  • how does s-video work?

  • I'm sure it works great, but the sad thing is I haven't used an s-video cord nor device since the 90s D=. Sorry, I can't tell you how s-video look man. If I find a cord around here somewhere, Then I'll tell you. =)

  • @DavinDaGeek oh ok thanks anyway

  • i have windows xp but walmart says its for vista. will it work on xp? also does it work pretty good for video games cause thats the reason im getting it for.

  • @Blackpigy102 Yeah it should work with xp just fine, it even works with windows seven. sand it's pretty good on games.

here is my capture card video game test.

    watch?v=cg2M2R7XYsg

  • How good is the quality for converting video game footage? Should I go for a HD one that's more expensive?

  • @Yotrickyo sure if you want, but here is my gameplay with the capture card. Tell me what you think? watch?v=cg2M2R7XYsg

  • can you record tv with this to cuz i know how to record my gam but not tv ?

  • @Petrovic23 Yep, as long as your cablebox or tv has an composite output, then sure =D

  • i got the same thing and it dont work work with windows 7. do you know why

  • Uhhh, I don't have windows seven, however it does work with Windows 7. and I don't know why it's not working with your computer. It could be a Hardware issue.

Look at my friend video here. he has window 7 and he is using the card on that computer. Ask him about it.

    watch?v=MB7d8n4FhXo

  • hey guys im no expert but could you teel me what dos a capture card do thx

  • A capture device can record video straight to your pc from any composite output. You can record game play, tv shows, and old VHS tapes.

I do believe I mentioned it in this video. =)

  • I'm thinking about buying it to make machinimas on Halo with my friends. How do you add voices to the video? Would I have to buy a microphone and record them on my computer?

  • Yes sir, you hit the nail right on the head. All you would have to do is buy a Mic and record on your computer, I'd say to use Audacity, cause it's probably the most light weight recording program out there.

  • Thanks

  • nice vid

  • Awesome DLB! x3

  • 5 stars

  • nice capture card

  • Thanks =)

  • Looking good. I really should invest in a capture card.

  • Great unboxing brah.
