I keep missing the show.. and now I find the time to see it in bits in YT.  It's now come out in DVD... well you know I'm going to get them. I loved the book and seeing it come alive is the most magnificent thing ever.

Haven't seen the movie nor the book, but this trailer.. what a kitsch :-)

I find Aliena's appearance quite dissapointing compared to how she is described in the book. Prior Philip seems to lack confidence, Jack is too old, and the story is not quite the same.. However both Philip and Jack look the right way and the mini-series catches the audience!

Love the book more though <3

I think this show was a disppointment! It didn't capture at all the essence of the book. Not to mention that they completely changed some of the facts_ omiting some important parts of the story and inventing others, without any criterion, they simply changed the story! The book is SO AMAZING, it's a pitty the tv show wasn't up to it :(

The voices of the actors are in english so deep :D In german they are higher :D

erst jetzt, da ich die Schauspieler mal im Original höre, sehe ich wie toll der Film eigentlich ist. Ich fand den Film im Deutschen schlecht und langweilig, aber wie ich jetzt sehe, lag das eher an der Synchronisation als am Film selbst!

ho letto il libro 4 VOLTE, conosco a a memoria la trama del racconto. Il film è fantastico, ma NON E' il libro!!! Capisco le esigenze cinematografiche, ma non si possono cambiare in toto situzioni crucilai del racconto, in nome di che cosa poi? Peccato, non so se sono l'unico a pensarla in questo modo. l'ho visto volentieri ma nache con tabta "rabbia" per i clamorosi cambiamenti apportati dalla versione cinematografica!

I just finished the series, it was by far one of my favorite mini series. At the moment I have only read part of the book, and they are both amazing. I can't wait to finish the book!

@VCR6911 I was a little sad at all the things they changed with Jack and Aliena's story. Although I thought the book was better, the series helped me so much with understanding all that treachery and backstabbing going on. =)
