It bothered me to no end to watch this but I did. My great grandma was put in there at the age of 48 back in the late 1800's. She died there in 1915 at the age of 75. I needed to watch this video so I could connect with her and I did.
My mothers friend worked there in the 50s/60s as a nurse-she is still around but she never talked about it--I used to sneak into this place just after it closed down and it was pretty creepy walking those tunnels at night with a small flashlight.
my grandfather was there and treated with EST while he was there for 6 months due to depression /nervous breakdown. I am not 100% sure what year he was there but i know it was between 1957-1964 .
Years Later i became a student attending classes in those same cottages, and playing capture the flag on that cricket field.
