@ninja6kid Good luck, roll the dice, even if you get it in Canada, it is a prohibited weapon and you can be charged with owning it or having it in your possession.
@dimmddr1 You would need to ask the CBSA because they are the ones who are not letting them in now and the laws have not changed so perhaps their perception of the law has changed. Our laws are not always black and white which leave room for interpretation.
@switchingtomac I just chek the firearma laws in Canada and this gun is totaly PROHIBITED then don't iven bader to tray to bay it, sorry for the news I know sounds ridiculos but is the way it is here.
@CherryxXxBoom Shooting blanks as props or signaling devices, these ones also shoot flares, they look real cool and work pretty much like a real gun so you can also use them as a training aid.
Is it true that the 925 and the 914 are now prohibited weapons because they use the same frame as the actual steel reinforced firearms that zoraki produce? I've seen some videos on you tube of people firing 'projectiles' from the barrel... surely the firing pin and breech couldnt handle the pressure produced from a live round?
@switchingtomac Seeing as the breech is for centrefire blanks I doubt the breech and barrel would sustain a live centrefire round, escpecially a 9mm (plus a 9mm wont chamber)! looking at the build quality it could possibly cope with a .22 rimfire round but would need a rimfire breech instead. Hardly worthy excuses for classing them illegal in my opinion.
I purchased the Zoraki model 925 kit in this video from Hero Army Surplus here in Ontario, Im very impressed with it. I will also be purchasing the Ekol Uzi the next time i go along with extra mags.
@switchingtomac yeah but it doesnt give me the option on the website to just purchase the mag. id have to purchase the gun as well. know an alternative?
Only one question: Where is it legal to shoot with these? You can't in the city. You cannot go to a firing range(well, technically you could, but it would look really weird:no sir, I don't need a target...). I don't think that you can ccw these in Canada(in case you want to scare some bums) and the police would probably arrest you at gunpoint if they saw you with it. In the woods maybe? Then why not a pellet gun, at least you can shoot something with it. Or a real gun, just get licensed.
@shawn13ca You do have to be careful where you shoot them, they are good for TV and film and as a training weapon, you can shoot them at a range and on a farm and in the bush or maybe just buy one to have and hold because it's the closest thing to the real gun you may be able to get without a license or extra cost of the real gun. I have a restricted license but still can't get prohibited guns so my only option is the blank version.
@sammyandsponcie As far as I know they are legal in the US, but you need to makes sure of your local gun and non-gun laws. We will ship to the US but we are not responsible for anything that is confiscated in customs or how they are used or abused once you receive them.
@sammyandsponcie It does not come with blanks, you need to blanks separately (About $30-$35). Front firing guns with Flare adaptors are also legal in the US because they fall under the classification of a Flare Gun.
@26dolla They are legal in Canada, they can not shoot real bullets or be converted to shoot real bullets, they use a special blank round that does not fit in a real gun and vise versa.
@MrMonkeyman1996 Sure, you can shoot it in your back yard, just make sure when the cops come that you don't wave it around at them :) They will take it away from you if you go around scaring people, and that included your neighbors. If you live out in the country then you can get away with it from time to time.
@Muphlon I talked to Vlad form Vinzer Sports and he has them on order but they will not be in till January or February. Keep checking his site for when they come in.
@grabisoft Thanks so much! I see you have airgun reviews on your channel too. You have the Umarex Colt Special Combat. I am so envious as we do not have it here yet in North America.
@switchingtomac ahah thanks.. today i got the mp5 umarex you reviewed.. speaking of which. i discovered it by watching your videos, so im uploading a review right now , i know its in spanish.. but well.. ahah keep up with the good work !
@vovavoyevodin Your Country being Latvia, can you also buy the Rubber bullet 9mm PA blank rounds? I like the look the EKOL ASI but it is a much larger gun. I can get teh EKOL ASI here in Canada in 9mm version but it is more money than the Zoraki 925.
@switchingtomac i can buy blank , cs, pepper rounds legaly. and rubber rounds frome the peoples, but they unlegal in Latvia, in russia they ar legal but person can buy them if he (she) have permits, in Rusia they shuld having permits to buy gas, traumatic guns
@vovavoyevodin Thanks for that info, We can only buy the Blanks here in Canada, No pepper round and no Rubber Ball rounds. Even though in Canada we can have front shooting blank guns, the barrels have obstructions in them that would not permit a rubber round to pass through it.
@switchingtomac if i du not mistaikin you in canada can't carry real guns for self defence, if it is, then i cand uderstend whay you can't carry cs or pepper rounds for self defence!.
@vovavoyevodin What is a "CS" round. In Canada if you use literally anything that looks like a gun to commit a crime a crime than it is considered a a real gun and you can be charged. So one would have to be very careful not to abuse a blank gun out in public, simply displaying it could get you in a lot of trouble as most people in Canada are very gun ignorant. That said, if you were minding your business and you had a non-prohibiited blank gun, I suppose you would not be breaking any laws.
I cannot justify spending that kind of money on a blank gun.For a couple hundred more you can buy a real gun.The only thing I could see this gun being used is if someone is making their own action movie.
@demmylowther Blank guns are good for TV and Movie props and for those that want to collect and do not have a license or want the hassle of registering real guns. In Canada we can not get short barreled pistols Under (4.25 inches) or pistols that shoot the smaller rounds other than 22 caliber as they are considered prohibited and a prohibited firearms license is not available anymore unless you already owned a prohibited pistol and have been grandfathered into a prohibited license.
I have Zoraki mod 914 an it's awesome ;)
