Great match. Seeing a player absolutely nail their mixup (I'm going to do this because he's probably going to do that - result; now I'll do the other because he'll be trying something different - result; etc) is always good. Particularly when the person being mixed up is clearly no slouch and understands what's going on.

This is a very hard matchup for Cody... the only risk El Fuerte has is that Cody blocks right or backdashes right.. Fuerte won't eat a reversal from Cody...

@Wiseblade You try playing a good Fuerte and not getting frustrated. The guy's like Viper, can basically do whatever the hell he wants and ignore the basic rules of SF4, he just doesn't get rewarded as much for it (and can only do it on wakeup). It's pretty fucking annoying.

@Wiseblade As in, neither of them have to play the reversal vs crouch tech vs backdash vs guard game that everyone else has to when applying oki, because their mixup attacks are so good and most reversals will totally miss them when timed right. Plus they're damn close to safe on whiff/block so backdash and guard are equally as ineffective.

Fuerte isn't great, I still agree he's mid tier at BEST (and likely low), but he's definitely annoying as fuck until you have experience.

OS ultra to punish backdash, was not desperation. I don't mind el fuerte, but this match was super cheesy. Splash or tortilla 50/50 over and over is pretty lame and not interesting to watch.

El Fuerte is a character to use if you have ADD.

I prefer El Fuerte's who do mix-ups into frame traps with RSF, seems a lot harder to do, more effective and much more damage leading to less guesses. Plus it is very entertaining to watch.
