Manny won the first fight knocking down Marquez 3X, the judge who called it a draw later stated he made an error, & their second fight the knockdown made the difference in Mannys win. Remember Marquez was the one to turn down an immediate rematch with Pacquiao, not the other way around as many people believed. A prime Marquez instead fought and was defeated by Chris John in Indonesia. Marquez is not at the level with Cotto,Margarito or Clottey & Manny prevailed against them all.

@neilcc7, I'm afraid your 10-6 round is off for 3 knock downs. Pac won few ounds after that round. Punch stats showed JMM landing way more punches, and the connect percentage was well above pac's. There's is no question that JMM was robbed of that win, thanks to Arum and judges he has on the payroll.
FIRST OF ALL YOU GOT TO PASS KINDERGARTEN MATH to know a 10-6 round is a hard hole to dig yourself out. 1st fight Marquez got knockdown 3x and pac 0. 2nd fight Marquez got knockdown 1X and pac 0. So Marquez had to win more rounds just to beat pac he lost 2 rounds 10-6 and 10-8 thats 6 rounds he had to win just break even with 2 rounds!!

@joesakic91, every fight can not end in KO. Pac has left well over 1/2 of hos fights in the judges hands. The issue is that boxing is corrupt, and judges can be bought, just as they were in both pac/jmm fights. JMM won both fights hands down.
That's how Erik Morales did it in his fight with Manny Pacquiao. He landed a counter with his jab and then follow it up with more blows by taking the fight to Manny and making the Pacman go back straight.
@joesakic91, Should this fight take place, Floyd will land the more accurate shots, and will lnad more punches. Pac will look just like Mosley did. I assure that if the fight takes place, Floyd will damage pac, and I'll wager to say he will KO pac, or the fight will be stopped.
Sure, the Pacman hasn't faced a longer, stiffer, quicker jab like MoneyMay has and has quicker movement, but Money hasn't faced a guy who can throw a whirlwind of punches from all weird angles that Pac does and has the handspeed.
With Pacquiao's handspeed and his willingness to let his hands go for all 12 rounds, it's a very good chance that PBF will be stopped.

JMM landed hard punches, hurt and cut the Pacman, but Pac also landed hard shots, hurt JMM (see Round 10), cut JMM with a punch (see Round 9) and knocked down JMM (see Round 3).
And also, Pacquiao continuously came forward forcing JMM to go back straight.
That's how two of the three judges in that fight, Tom Miller and Duane Ford, see it for Pacquiao: aggression and quality damage.
And as for judges being bought, those three judges: Duane Ford, Tom Miller and Jerry Roth were hired by the Nevada State Athletic Commission like they have always been. And I didn't hear anything about Bob Arum having them on the payroll.

Pac landed the more telling/decisive punches, 7 rounds Pac 115-112 . even if you split the rounds 114-113 Pac , cuz of the knockdown.

Manny won the first fight knocking down Marquez 3X, the judge who called it a draw later stated he made an error, & their second fight the knockdown made the difference in Mannys win. Remember Marquez was the one to turn down an immediate rematch with Pacquiao, not the other way around as many people believed. A prime Marquez instead fought and was defeated by Chris John in Indonesia. Marquez is not at the level with Cotto,Margarito or Clottey & Manny prevailed against them all.

Im not even mexican, I'm from Peru. That night i saw that marquez beat the crap of pac he didn't knock him down but he had pac hurt in many rounds. even the round that marquez was knocked down marquez was winning that round, that round should have been scored 10-9 for pac not 10-8

No digo que sea mas talentoso, pero si es mas rapido y mas fuerte, ademas el peso le ha venido muy bien. Si pelearan de nuevo tendria Marquez que buscar hacerlo como maximo en las 140 libras, arriba de esto, veo demasiado dificil que JuanMa pueda ganar, esto sin mencionar la edad.

Read that a few Filipino boxing experts the likes of Ron Nathanielz thought Pacquiao lost the Marquez-Pacquiao 2, and even some of them wanted the Philippine Congress to investigate why Pacquiao won! Manny was dissulutioned by the actions of those so called experts(maybe they lost big time) because instead of supporting kapwa Filipino they wanted Manny questioned! Mea culpa.

@neilcc7, I'm afraid your 10-6 round is off for 3 knock downs. Pac won few ounds after that round. Punch stats showed JMM landing way more punches, and the connect percentage was well above pac's. There's is no question that JMM was robbed of that win, thanks to Arum and judges he has on the payroll.

FIRST OF ALL YOU GOT TO PASS KINDERGARTEN MATH to know a 10-6 round is a hard hole to dig yourself out. 1st fight Marquez got knockdown 3x and pac 0. 2nd fight Marquez got knockdown 1X and pac 0. So Marquez had to win more rounds just to beat pac he lost 2 rounds 10-6 and 10-8 thats 6 rounds he had to win just break even with 2 rounds!!

@joesakic91, every fight can not end in KO. Pac has left well over 1/2 of hos fights in the judges hands. The issue is that boxing is corrupt, and judges can be bought, just as they were in both pac/jmm fights. JMM won both fights hands down.

And how did JMM win both fights? By backing up every time Pacquiao came forward and kissing the canvas?
Sure, JMM landed more blows, but Pacquiao was more aggressive and did more quality damage with his blows including knocking JMM down.
In order to beat Manny, land a counter AND then make him go back straight by following it up with more blows.

I beg to differ.
Sure, the Pacman hasn't faced a longer, stiffer, quicker jab like MoneyMay has and has quicker movement, but Money hasn't faced a guy who can throw a whirlwind of punches from all weird angles that Pac does and has the handspeed.
With Pacquiao's handspeed and his willingness to let his hands go for all 12 rounds, it's a very good chance that PBF will be stopped.

Pac cut him with a head butt. And if you dont think judges are and have been bought, where have you been hiding? This has been going on since boxing began. JMM landed hard punches, hurt and cut the Pacman, but Pac also landed hard shots, hurt JMM (see Round 10), cut JMM with a punch (see Round 9) and knocked down JMM (see Round 3).
And also, Pacquiao continuously came forward forcing JMM to go back straight.
That's how two of the three judges in that fight, Tom Miller and Duane Ford, see it for Pacquiao: aggression and quality damage.

We all know why they scored it for Pacquaio- a great exciting fighter with a great technique and tremendous power not scared to go to toe with any fighter-Bob Arum will see alot of money with Pacquaio and future mega fights. Marquez would've won the first fight w/ 7 rounds, but the 3 knockdown 3 point deduction to JMM made the difference 113-112 Pac.
I used to think Marquez won the 2nd match, but I watched a couple more times, he did throw a lot of punches, but a lot were getting either blocked or landed on Pac's forearm/elbow, not effective punches. Pac landed the more telling/decisive punches, 7 rounds Pac 115-112 . even if you split the rounds 114-113 Pac , cuz of the knockdown.
