actually the african Moors did pillage towns and enslave about 5 million people in spain and ireland. Europe was also pillaged and enslaved by the Huns, Arabs and Mongols. As a matter of fact the very term slave comes from the slavic people (deemed inferior) who were enslaved by the Mongols. Point is that blacks by no means have a monopoly on being slaves and whites by no means have a monopoly on being masters... at all. Unfortunately they don't teach these things in high school

no they brought white slaves with them. slavery is despicable no matter who suffers through it and you can't really say any were worse because it completely destroys that person's life and they only get one life. a white person being enslaved for life is just as bad as a black person being enslaved for life.
Also the transatlantic slave trade wouldn't have been possible or economic without the help of the african people selling the slaves.

actually the very first slaves in america were white - half of the whites brought to the colonies were slaves and usually for life. As a matter of fact white slavery in the 17th century was greater than black slavery and they had a 50% mortality rate crossing the ocean. To make matters more diverse 23% of free blacks owned slaves while only 1.4% of whites owned slaves. Every race has been enslaved and discriminated against at some point in their history. So drop the victim act.
