this whole cyber dating sites is total bs and overrated, if you can't find someone through other ways then something is really wrong. there are a lot of creeps online and i mean players, sociopath (cheating husbands and dating someone) and needy men probably make up most of the active site users. not even the crazy guys are online as much. so be careful you can't easily spot those men until you go on one disaster date to the next.

I've met some really interesting and nice guys online, not a single bad case! which i can't say about some perverts/psychos i meet in real life.

To the things mentioned in the video i'd add a few things: Look through his(her) friends' list: if more than 90% of them are female, and if many of them look like they belong in Hooter's or a Sir MixaLot video, then it's HIGHLY likely that he's just looking for some quick sexy times....but then again, depends on what you're looking for...

Single mom - Looking for a mealticket for her and presents it's for the kids, knocked up by thug or loser and now looking for a sucker.

Feminist - decides everything in the relationship.

Bikini shots and gets mad at "creeps" that look at her - show off that thinks most men are beneath her.

"I love life/love to laugh" - can't think of anything individualistic to say.

I think you need to be more open minded to the benifits on online dating. By meeting someone online does not mean you have issues or are anti social it could just mean that you know that there is nobody in your immediate circle you would want to be in a relationship with. If a person is online dating I would say the fact they are looking for company proves they are not anti social.

i feel the need to mention how online dating hasnt only become popular w/ adults but preteens and teenagers as well. roleplaying sites being a major part in this. you also tend to pick up on little hints even if they do call you on the phone and do send you pics. just because they have a picture doesnt mean it's really them.

i had an online boyfriend and after about 7months they finally told me the truth. i also knew in the back of mind he wasnt being honest but the feelings got in the way.
