I'm for all 50 states seceeding from washington DC together, we don't need it, no one does. We can surround and cordon off the city, and they can have their lobbyists, greed and lack of reality.
Ron Paul & Ralph Nader: Fight against George IV (neocons). And Rick Perry will be the next Governor of Texas, I think. So there's still time for the independence...
I think secession might be only tool the states have left, to make the federal government show their hand or get back in line. The first thing states need to do is put in place a regulated state militia. That would make the federal government stand up and take a state more seriously. I think maybe Oklahoma will be the first to do so. Unfortunately I come from a state who still vote democrat just because their daddy did. They don't check to see what their stances are, it's just dem or rep.
As a Texan, it's interesting to hear the reaction from the rest of the country. In Texas, everybody talks about secession like it's no big deal, and it's not a new thing, we alway have. A large portion of our population wants to secede.
Hey, Texan! Us californians are with you. We are the 9 largest economy in the world, and are living in debt because we have to pay for foreign wars and welfare. Not only would secession cut the stranglehold of the federal government, It would call the bluff of the Federal Reserve. The reason we have to keep raising minimum wage here, is not because we have lazy workers, but because we have devalued and practically worthless federal reserve notes to work with.
americans for secession hell yeah ill be the first to pick up the rifle. the south is close to rising again. and no im not a red neck im just tired of being oppressed by our gov but dont have the money to leave
I do not know why this is not a bigger issue, and more so considered. I love Ron Paul but why isn't it taken more seriously while government is in bed with the world bank. Why can't we defend our rights as a state before they own up all the land and take our property.
It should be more so one the minds of people than all this government spending, which just means more taxes.
Our federal government likes to support secession movements all over the world, but when we try it, our states are invaded, war is launched on civilians (war crimes), and forced to stay in a voluntary union at gunpoint.
This pin headed chick is a beauty contestant nothing more. All she knows how to do is read a teleprompter, smile and wear short skirts. She is no news reporter. That profession died years ago when they would dig out and research for info and blow the whistle. Even 60 minutes won't cover whats going on.
If he were the GOP nominee, he would win hands down. Most Americans are against the wars, but at least somewhat conservative on domestic policy. Therefore a staunchly anti-war Republican would be the best of both worlds, for the MAJORITY of Americans.
Ron Paul had a problem with a subversive on his staff, who sabotaged the campaign. Also, it is possible that voting machines were rigged. Check out Jim Condit on youtube, who goes into this

She isn't much different from any other news reporter.
The media are given "talking points," and one of those is to speak of secession as crazy and/or unpatriotic.
