That's what I never liked about Transformers... Optimus is a weakling in his regular mode, even though he is a Prime. He can never defeat Megatron or even come close in this mode, yet he can easily swat the other decipticons like a bug. He needs the support of his super-mode to take out Megatron, whilst Megatron needs no support. I never liked that....
