There is no reverse in the pits if you go back so far. I only backed up a bit.

the crew members can push u back but the car can never be in reverse in pits

Hit the F4, F5, F8, F9, etc keys to change what you want done on your pit stop. Then use the space bar to turn things on or off (repair damage, 2 tires, no tires, etc)
