ewwww... watched the 7 clips.. those amps suck really bad.. no balls, sick low end.. and i guess the dynamics were eaten away bu the youtube compression..

I wonder if they scooped the sound on all videos just to hide how bad the mids were...

I really hope they sound better in real life..

The mids are actually quite nice on this amp.

This video is a very bad example of what the amp sounds like. They turned the over-drive on and brought the blend all the way down to make that distorted sound. It sounds horrid in this video, but if you mess with the settings a little bit, it can be a pleasant sound :D

An amp that can sound bad is bad to me. i tried some trace elliott, and sometimes mess around with a friends markbass littlemark, and these sound good whatever the setting is, even turning the knobs totally random.

i atched 7 different sounds of the rumble, just one sounded good to me..

I think this amp is not that great, but the guys that made the videos made it even worse :/ thats sad

I've read some people like this sound for soloing and stuff, so it's all opinion, in which case, we both agree the sound here is horrible! The person playing definitely doesn't help out lol

I've never really played through a high-end bass amp :o Messed around with some Ampeg stuff, but nothing like a Markbass or a Trace Elliot.

I got this same exact set-up as a graduation gift, so I may be a little biased when I try to defend it P:

No, that's a custom jazz bass with jazz pickup on bridge position, and a p-bass pickup on the neck.

CBS is not doing any good job i feel, their new line of fender sucks, eg. modern player line, eve wonder why their vintage instruments are more ex than their newer model? if you really love fender, you gotta go with G&L, at least that is what leo had last made.

@willbassyeahsgindo Another retarded ass internet expert. CBS hasn't owned Fender for 26 years. The Fender employees bought the company from CBS in 1985, an it is now called Fender Musical Instruments Company. And I guarantee if they made Fenders now with the same quality they were being made at the CBS take over there would be no good things to say about them. There is absolutely nothing wrong with modern Fender quality.

@Mightypaul maybe i didnt know about what the employee had done, my point is does fender had make anymore innovative instruments? eg tele,strat,jazz,precision is all made by leo himself. Its true that their instruments are high quality, but are they able to create better and improved musical instruments? I hate how their new modern player is not as innovative as what Leo design. Leo is genius, he look at trend and create design, eg players slapping during 80s, he than create musicman

@willbassyeahsgindo Don't fix something that isn't broken. The reason the Strat, Tele, P, Jazz, Jaguar, are still being made mostly the same way as they were 50 years ago is because they were good looking, good sounding and comfortable instruments. There is no reason to change. The only difference is now the QC is alot better now than it was back in the day.

My question is if Leo fender can improve his creation, why cant the people in fender musical did the same? i didnt say fender did not make good quality intruments, My point is, if you want a real IMPROVE FENDER get a g&l instead. There are reason why MOST people upgraded their fender basses, Go to talkbass.com and you know how many people are changing pickup, putting j-retro preamp, changing their bridge to badass II.

@willbassyeahsgindo I'm on talkbass, and I'm well aware of G&L. Leo also started Music Man before he started G&L. I wouldn't call either an improvement over Fender. They are a totally different design. G&L is a good mix of Fender and Music man really, they have aspects of both. As far as modding Fenders, there are just as many people that hate high mass bridges and active electronics. Personally I can't stand a badass II bridge, they are ugly as sin.

@youathoz Yes, Leo Fender created the electric bass. But it was also Mr. Leo Fender who designed the Stingray (after he sold Fender to CBS, he and other folks created Music Man), so.. who knows!
