Ted Bundy suffered from what is known as Anti-Social Personality Disorder... In short he was a psychopath/sociopath and thus incapable of accepting responsiblity for his actions. Getting a guy like Ted to admit it was their own fault is like trying to get a head banger (low functioning autistic) to look you in the eye. He was trying to blame porn to save his life and to feed his ego.

Anyone that wants to really see what really created Ted Bundy should research his developmental history to see that porn and zilch to do with it. I lived through the 80s and as much as I loved a lot of the music, there were so many witchhunts and scapegoats during the period it was pathetic. Dungeons and Dragons, anyone? I had a few people believing that game was utterly "Satanic" and that I was suspect for playing the game in high school. Inane.

Bundy was so arrogant he needed something to stay in the spotlight outside of his pending execution. I don't think Dobson was naive---I think he used Ted's "confession" to further the anti-porn agenda. It seems the fundamentalist montheistic religions have always tried to control sexuality to the neurotic degree---you control a person's sexuality, and you (to a certain extent) control the person. Ted was a boogeyman to be used for the anti-porn vehicle and Dobson loved this interview.

Hey, Jordan I really appreciate this video. I was raised in a Conservative Christian household, and our 'purity' classes always focused on how porn effected serial killers around the world. Hell, just 5 years ago I remember when I was a freshman and the homeschool co-op I attended from Middle School-Freshman year was CRAZY fundie. Which I can understand. Repeating 'take responsibility for your own actions' or not, every human remains a victim of its environmental stimuli and genetic characteristics that decide its actions from its conception to its death. If blaming one such stimuli will get you off death row whereas another one won't, what would you do?

All his victims had the same hairstyle, were around the same age, and had around the same appearance as the woman whom he was engaged to, who broke up with him, and was the first victim he killed. He might have said it was random, but psychological profilers know better, as does common sense.

The real intent is to continually recreate a sort of psychodrama so that they can try time and again to confront something within themselves which, in Bundy's case, was the feelings he had about the woman he killed and issues, it would seem, with matriarchal relationships in general.

If one lacks the insight and does not understand every person has this born-in right, so to speak (which is largely debatable), he can be hold accountable for things he does coming from this limited understanding, but that is a mile away from blaming him for them.

Also forgot to mention that all the women he killed resembled the appearance of his old gf who "broke his heart" after he was action too clingy so she left, although he acted that way because of all the crazy stuff he was discovering at the time. So in the end all the murders where to get a sort of revenge against his gf (who was his first victim too iirc) he knew what he was doing, and it was in no way connected to porn.

We all know Ted Bundy went crazy they way he did because he found out what he though was his sister turned out to be his mother years after the fact and and that his father just left his mother, among other very traumatic and crazy stuff that ended up warping his mind. Of course he would try to blame it on porn, its a plea to sympathy for the courts because porn was under heavy fire at the time. Why would anybody believe a sociopath when his words could be used to defend his actions?
