  • i think mm3 would be the best in the series if they made the wily levels harder.

  • Srsly, the guy who plays megaman in this video has no skills :)

  • MM3 is the best, I have beaten it SO many times, I know all the secrets, all the bosses, all the weapons, and how every level is designed.

  • The first megaman was the best. And i never tried others. AND I DONT WANT

  • mmm i didn't really like megaman 3 :/...

welll i didn't play it long... i should give it annother shot... i was very impatient at that day

  • remenbering finals 80's beginning 90's..great game, great memories.. the best times..

  • remenbering finals 80's beginning 90's..great game, great memories.. the best times..

  • mega man 3 and 5 are the tow best ones of the NES games

  • Lord, how many afternoons did I waste playing this game in junior high...?

  • megaman 3 is the best one out imo did everything right in the whole MM nes series

graphics, music, gameplay and story, a must play nes game

  • 7:53 LOL!

  • I been playing megaman games for many ears but ifell Megaman 3 was the best of the NES. i fail to see what big hpe was of Megaman 2 I wish someone could tell me

  • great graphics on a nes

  • I love this game but......ITS MOTHA FUCKIN HARD 8U, but still its fun

  • This is the only megaman game I really like, seeing I still have it to this day somewhere, shame I no longer have my NES.

I remember getting to the point where the stages repeat, that shocked me. By the way if I'm wrong about the repeating it has been nearly 16 since I last played this on a real NES.

  • I agree, 3 is very bomb. I feel all megamans are equal, and Very good. Every single one is worth playing 'sept maybe "battle network" lol

  • @Skankindragon1 I hated battle network too

Didn't feel like a proper MM game.

  • It was Fun dont get me wrong... just not 100% MM@LeightonW87

  • @kylemckinnon yes the voice :/ just let the damn nice sound of the game

  • Monotone makes everything more exciting.

  • Mega Kid 3

  • I remember getting a copy of this game in the Christmas of 1992. Ever since then, until my NES stopped working, I would play and beat this game over & over. My #1 favorite out of the entire Original Series.

  • This is my favorite megaman game. This is also the first megaman i have ever played, when i was like 7 years old. I rented the game, and i remember I didnt know how to do the "slide", so i couldnt pass the parts where you needed to slide, lol...

  • In my opinion, based on the game's number of bosses, overall length, and the amount of effort put into the game, I think Mega Man 3 was originally intended the last Mega Man game from the original series. While 2 and 4 are tied as my personal favorites, 3 was damn good.

  • The clouds in Snake Man's stage are to catch you off guard. At their highest point of travel, shoot them to reveal the missiles. Just don't be in the line of fire or you can be knocked off. It takes about three shot with the Mega Buster to kill them. Shoot them, and let them fly by you.

  • But what do they have to do with snakes? Why not put clouds in Air man's stage or Cloud man's stage, not Snake man!

  • TruusssstMe, what the hell are you talking about? This was the easiest of them all.

  • Yeah, But Air man & Wood man's spirits are annoying because of the shield increases and the whole no weakness thing.

I still want to know what the hell clouds are doing in Snake mans stage.

    Seriously, what?

  • Air Man's weakness on MM3 is the Spark Shot, but don't fire it sparatically because, each time you fire it, it takes one point of weapon energy. You'll lose it before you even land a hit. I think it takes about 7 hits with it to Kill Air Man.

To beat Doc Robot Woodman, use the Needle Cannon. You know his pattern. He'll use his Wood Shield, fire at you. Jump and, fire the Needle Cannon. The Needle Cannon already has Auto-fire capability so, you can land 2 or 3 hits on him before he...

  • recharges hit Leaf Shield. It takes about 7 hits. To kill Heat Man Doc Robot, use Top Spin. A perfectly timed attack with that can kill some bosses in one to four hits.

  • But the only time Wood Man and Air Man are invulnerable is when they are using their weapon. Air Man, you have to get close to him before firing the Spark Shot.

  • A masterpiece at the time,I loved it(& finished it several times).Does it exist on the latest nintendo?

  • i agree x and megaman and bass and megaman 3 hardest games

  • so true..fuck those four stages after the 8 robot bosses

  • Well...Capcom just released it recently. Maybe they're hearing all the positive stuff about it, so MegaMan might live again!

  • Ever seen MegaMan 9?

  • "Now the screen is changing, whats going on."

    More enthusiasm XD

  • I loved this game on the NES :D

bah, must of been 10 years now!

The thing I loved the most was how whenever you kill a new boss, you get a new type of megaman! <3

  • I always liked the older version better haha

  • Top Man really made this game. He wasn't challenging, but he was hilarious and he had great music. One of the things you can do in this game is just run around playing with Top spin.

  • top spinsa the worst mega man weapon ever i dont get it?

  • It's stupid, but it's fun. :D

  • i hate this guy's voice he seems uninterested

  • it is the first megaman game I ever played

  • Actually, I think having 16 RM's (and the level revisits) is what puts MM3 above the rest. It was demanding, but not insane and torturous like MM1-2 was... especially 1!

(The "Speed Racer" influence is very obvious. But also very cool.) MM3 is still my favorite, too; I think it's "anybody not in love with MM2's" favorite.

  • mm 2 tortouros bah I agree on 1 but 2

  • Hehe Hatsune saves the days with her voice^^

  • huh??

If you don't like,, just don't play it.

I like the news games. I played almost all megaman games, some are good some don't, but meh, just play it.

  • i hate that fat cat fucks me up everytime!!!

  • not only do i have pt III on my nes, which i still play but i also have pt II on my phone... bitchin!!!

  • Great Review! I lol'd at the ProtoMan part, but still awsome.

  • This is my favorite of the Classic series, and I love how the Doc Robots extend the length of the game, and fixes the difficulty balancing in Megaman 2 (I'm looking at you, Quick Man's stage), and adding so much more.

  • my first and favourite Mega Man game, I am disapointed over the cut of the slide technique as it made the gameplay even more interesting but nevertheless 9 will be great

  • What ya expect? Mega Man 9 is going back to the gameplay style of Mega Man 2 which rocks. I like gameplay that is simple and fun to play.

  • I read that the slide and charge still exist in MM9 but they have to be purchased with bolts.

  • I would rather stick with the style of Mega Man 2 because the slide and charge shot makes the game a bit easy and yet... there are times that I should get it.

  • you can jump in holes and not die with that cheat

  • That's the moon jump cheat.

  • Nice video...but I disagree with there being too many RMs in MM3. If you think about it, they did the same thing in future Mega Mans, except they added a second castle instead.

  • You never fought two extra bosses in four different stages. Even at the least, it's four extra bosses than later games.

  • Well yeah I actually see what you're saying. I was actually referring to the length of the game. Technically it isn't longer because with the MM2 robot masters, two of them share a stage so it's like doing only four levels...which is usually what the castles in the future games featured.

  • I wonder... what was it like if TopMan was completely developed unlike the one that we've seen in MM3.

  • yo soy un jugador de la vieja escuela desde megaman 1 a megaman zx advent :D. este juego es genial

  • lol nice. even though this game is older than me i was somewhat upset with the protoman spoiler.

  • Great to see this recap. MM3 was my personal favorite.

  • I really like Megaman 3, but I honestly find it lacking compared to MM1, 2 and 4. It's a very good game, but it just doesn't "click" as much as the games I previously mentioned.

  • Megaman 3 was an awesome game. To me it was my second favorite next to Megaman 2. Great recap

  • i cant wait till nexy week, mmnr is the best!

  • Awesome cannot wait for part 4

  • Meh, the first two resets were better. The narrator for this one just doesn't seem to have any enthusiasm for the game.

  • Sorry... I really am excited, but I do admit that I have an extremely boring voice. You should hear me when I'm REALLY bored... ;_;

    -Syl

  • It's alright Syl. No worries. Besides, I can tell that you had a lot of excitement for Mega Man 3. I sure hope to Direct Download it whenever possible and still waiting to direct download MMN Reset: Mega Man 2.

  • I just finished playing Mega Man 3 and boy was it worth it. It truly was indeed one hell of a game. 5/5

  • I'm playing MM3 right now.

  • Lol, the Protoman intro was kinda corny XP

MM3 was my fav. MM game, so...

BTW, FIRST COMMENT (always wanted to say that)

  • I was thinking the exact same thing. hehe
