New York to San Francisco by bicycle - U.S. Hwy 50, Nevada

About 5 miles down the road from where you stopped filming, there is a place on the side of the road where people write in the sand and in one spot someone wrote "ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US". i totally wanted to see that in this video!

Yep, we were together. At that point in the trip, she was still a little afraid to let go of the brakes on downhills, so I naturally just rolled past her. Too bad there was headwind -- otherwise I'd go much faster than 24 mph. In fact, I hit 49 mph on one of Nevada downhills earlier in the trip.
