very perceptive take on "Inside." Sting and I may not have a lot in common, but one thing we do: both of us are in long lasting happy marriages NOW, but can still--should we care to do so--call up painful, traumatizing emotions from relationships gone dark, gone cold from years before. This song he did...it's quite a shot out of left field don't you think, following as it does album after album of rather lighthearted odes to the fun and foibles of married love. Wow.
