Only 16 and I've listened to Elton John my whole life and nothing will ever top his songs. The terrible stuff that we have today will never be listened to again in 5 or 10 years. Nothing can ever top classics like this and I really wish I grew up in the 70's and 80's when good music like this was tearing up the charts with #1 hits everywhere. Nothing can and will ever beat Elton John's songs and for that, I tip my hat to you Sir Elton John!

Bear in mind that this era had a load of shit music as well and as you are only 16 you only hear the good music that has survived. Survival of the Fittest. A lot of shit from back then you will have never heard of. In 5 to 10 years only the best music from nowadays will be around like the Arctic Monkeys, Adele, etc.
