leds are better because they dont wash out your other lights so you can put them net to each other with no problem also the beams are cleaner and reach longer distances than halogen
You can just plug into a wall outlet, and let it run all night long. Or into a basic on/off controller. You cannot link multiple units (daisy chain). But you can power link multiple units so that if you have 4, all you need is one outlet...but you will need to purchase special IEC cables for that.
1) most facils dont allow fog. Do the demo without fog in a school gym. LED's are NOT bright enough. Pwned.
2) Am i right in noticing that the new one only has one color at a time (granted they can change) ...whereas the Classic model has multi-colored beams at the same time.
In response to point 1: yes most facilities do not allow for fog, but if you use a haze machine then that is addressed.
In response to point 2: the multi-colored beams of the classic light are based upon a white light shining through lenses, were the LED vertigo has a multi-coloured light source shooting through clear lenses.
Hey gotta love the ROOTS product! Anyway I would get this light had it be a dmx and there still might be hope of getting one yet should I want a light show without bring out the controller. Might be a great idea for the second unit.
it was one of those lights that you could use with fog, and it would be great to see the beams...but it would fill up a room with plenty of color...no prob
Hey Jasper, The One Thing I Didn't Like About The Classic Vertigo Is That It Didn't Have The Sound Activation (Mic) I Did Its Own Thing So It Wouldn't Go To The Beat Of The Music. But Other Than That I Loved The Classic Vertigo

2) Am i right in noticing that the new one only has one color at a time (granted they can change) ...whereas the Classic model has multi-colored beams at the same time.
