one amazing thing about this monster is if you get a aftermarket cold air intake and exhaust to breathe right it increases performance enough to please a nascar driver it puts out so much power its awsome i have a 2010 platinum and i put a kn cold air intake and slp loudmouth exhaust with a diablosport tuner and i have not lost to another truck or suv n beats challenger r/t , get one and try it.

This is the most nicest vehicle I've ever been in. It really does feels like you're driving in a million dollar limousine. My uncle owns a newer model and makes me want to get one as well since the older models like the 07 aren't so expensive and almost have same style interior and features. It handles extremely well in towing stuff like big fishing boats and makes the long 6 hour drive to the beach really worth it and fun instead of a boring drive.

Honestly the Cadillac Escalade has alot of prescence and it definelty turns heads and its a cool car. From there however its terible. if you want a luxury SUV get a range rover. the interior is much better. My dad was gonna get a escalade (thank god he didnt) but the interior is terrible. It literally feels as if it was made by Fisher Price or by Mega Blocks or some toy company because the amount of plastic on the dash is terrible

@Harcorefolife well the car starts at around 60,000 dollars and after you pick your accessories and stuff it might come out to around 65-70 grand, then it'll cost around 10-12 grand to ship safely, then depending on the import taxes and other taxes in england(which im not sure of) it might com in around 90-100 grand, which is roughly 58188.4- 64653.78 pounds.

Has the quality really improved? I have a 2006 Sierra and a 2008 Sierra and the older one is much more rugged. The 2008 is falling apart and everything is rusting. Are the Cadillac's the same way?

It might not have a standard rear seat entertainment system, but it is without any doubt the best full-size luxury SUV you will find in the $60,000 price range ($60,000 as of 2009). The GL320 really isn't as luxurious, and the LX570 might be able to haul more but it's also not as nice. It's so powerful, and also actually sporty for its class, getting to 60mph in 6.5 seconds. It's an excellent EXCELLENT sport utility, and I'd strongly suggest it.

I`ve priced a 2007, and they're barely worth half of what they where new. Not even two years old. You can get a pretty screaming deal if your in the market for one of these now.

euro cars are the worst mercedes and bmw and jaguar are terrible my first luxury vehicle was a used escalade 2002 and in the 3 years i had it only thing i had to change was a u-joint ive had a e class spent six grand keeping it on the road in the year i had it.got bmw 745li that spent more time in the shop then on the road a s-type and xk8 jag and i can tell you from experience by a cadillac or buy a lexus . porsche and audi your playin lotto too 911s are fantastic drives but arent reliable

I have an 04 e500 and it runs great. I've never had a problem besides having to replace tires. They wear down a little faster than any other car i've had.

the escalade has the worst milege, i'd rather spend 65,000 on a ml550 if i had to get an suv. the escalade is nice, but it doesn't feel luxary at all. the leather is not in quality it's not nappa leather, and the wood is plastic, the aluminum makes it look cheap, its comfortable, but you couldn't park that car or couldn't stop worrying about it every sec.thu you americans are still not good in products, besides making people fat. europe's the way to go budy, all european cars and your fine.

His last one was a 2002 Discovery and it only had 59,000 on it and he only got $16,000 for it versus the Escalade you could easily get almost $25,000 or more with the same milage

I just don't understand why anyone would want to drive a vehicle that handles poorly, doesn't brake well, gets terrible gas mileage, looks like a bread box...I guess it's just a status thing. Most people who buy Escalades, Navigators, etc, don't know anything about cars, such as how big rims reduce performance because they are heavy. Trucks should only be for hauling stuff.

It actually handles quite well for a vehicle of that size. My friend owns one and he says it handles better than anything he's owned before it, it has 403hp and gets 18mpg which is just as good as the Toyota Land Cruiser that has ony 268hp. It also tows well, about 7700lbs which isn't a whole lot but more than the average consumer will need it for.
