  • I have been listening to

Trowers music since 73, and Jimmy's vocals still give me goosebumps all the time. Only God could put that band together, and they knocked it out of the park repeatedly. SO many of their tunes were timeless perfection.

  • I just love this one!!!

  • Jimmy Dewar-oh what a magical voice....and what a great man...totally down to earth and authentic. Hard as nails with a great understated sense of humour.....a real Caledonia Man.....I remember him walking out at Oakland in front of that massive Day on the Green crowd and Bill Lordan was nervou as hell and James said to him dinnae worrie big yin...........(Don't worry big fella)....RIP James nobody was ever as good as you. Hi Magsly those were there days !!!

  • Smooth as slilk, wonderful!

  • C'est l'un des morceaux les plus émouvants de Robin Trower!

  • it simply doesn't get any better than this. Anybody with a half an ear for blues can hear that. Dewar's voice is second to none as far as chemistry with Trower's unique style. Maybe imitated, bur never duplicated. They were the best. Sooo from the soul.....

  • Mr. James Dewar was Heaven sent. R.I.P.

  • Consider my heartstrings plucked

  • My oh my! What a voice God gave this man! Would love to know more about Jimmy, stories, etc..

  • man this bring's back good childhood memories !! my parent's jamin to this on accasion. the ol hippies they were

  • What a nice tune, thanks for posting it.They way Robin can play behind a vocal still amazes me.

  • Jimmy`s voice has been truly missed in the world of music. You just don`t hear that passion anymore. One of the greatest blues voices ever.

  • Jimmy`s voice has been truly missed in the world of music. You just don`t hear that compassion anymore.

  • The greatest singer that nobody knows about

  • LONG LIVE JAMES AND ROBIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOTHING BUT "BAD COMPANY" EVER SHOOK A STICK AT THESE LEGENDS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is just one of several sublime songs that are literally spine tinglers and bring a lump to my throat......especially when I think about dear sweet james dewar....wish that man was stil with us. What a wonderful human being....totally original and down to earth. The original Caledonia man from Glasgow RIP James I will raise a glass a drink a wee dram thinking of you this Christmas

  • @jimmyjamesdylan hear hear (non alcoholic toast tho & not sure if it's 'hear hear'

or 'here here' but i sure wish dewar still was)

  • WOW!!! Jimmy certainly missed. There was a interview on youtube with Robin he said Jimmy had the best voice he has ever heard and loved working with him.

  • This song is spot on for the way I feel about my divorce.

    Peace one and all...

  • Well for the people that did not see RT JD you missed alot. I saw them in Baltimore 1974. One of my favorite concerts ever. They are even better in person . I can still remember even though I was'nt all there. I was spacing to his music and with Dewar voice AWESOM. Ya I was stoned.

  • Simply Awesome!

    An Incredible Voice!!!

  • @jrv7286 - agreed . Dewar was one of rock music's best vocalists.

  • siempre pensé que era el propio Trower que cantaba...como tan ignorante

  • @Abrohill . No amigo, toca muy bein la viola pero no canta para nada....

A mi me encanta todo de Trower... Saludos desde Argentina

  • Love that man's voice......sweet song

  • This along with Robin made it known that white boys did have some serious SOUL! I BEEN A FAN FROM THE BEGINNING.

  • A great voice has the ability to make a trivial composition beautiful...

Trower owes a lot to Jimmy on quite a few songs like this one

  • well said magslyfarham, his voice

is especially sweet in this song.

    it's heartbreaking isn't it? robin's guitar

and jimmy's voice. what more could you

    ask for?

  • @beckeyes123 Absolutely nothing, incredible duo.....

  • Jimmy why did you have to go and leave us like that.......you made the world a more beautiful place with your magic voice...RIP............

  • u just made me cry

  • Thanks ardozier........many of Jimmy and Robin's songs make me cry !

  • hmmmmmmm

  • the sweet, sweet soulful voice of

the late ( but! oh so great) Jimmy Dewar.

  • very very good best ever

  • I could listen to this 100 times straight through no problem

  • Strng effort by Trower & Dewar.

  • Hairs standing up on the back of the neck job this one...no one had a voice like JD (RIP) and Robin wasn't bad on that strat either....magical music, what a wonderful song......Little Girl, About to Begin and In this Place are also other faves...

  • magslyfarnham1 - always leave you a 'Thumbs UP' on this track ........ you say everything I want to say. Adore JD's voice - and love Robin's licks

  • One of my favourite Trower songs;sublime

  • Many, many thanks for posting this -- one of Trower's most beautiful, moving, and, alas, underappreciated songs. Glorious playing and soulful singing, certainly one of Dewar's best efforts . . . although one could easily choose from among a dozen others for that honor!
