Motley have very different style. They have 4 people in the band, there's only one guitarist, Mick. They can't possibly sound like gnr because they lack extra resources eg musicians. And their style is heavier than of GNR. GNR however write more complex songs at least the used to. And another thing : The real GNR fell apart in 1995, motley fell apart but they re back together since 2004. GnR is still split up. Personally i love both bands. But as a musician slash influenced me more than Mick.
