The value of the house you just bought will go down as the whole market slows down further. It's not the bottom yet.
Same can be said on your renting house, as the price of houses go down, so do the rent. You will have to compete against other rent houses.
It's not the best time for buying a house for investment purpose now. People buying house now because they have to move, job change etc.
By low, sell high, still works.

This is the biggest rip off of the American taxpayer I have ever seen. I am planning to draw all my 401K money out. Things got out of hand when public teachers/police/firemen could no longer afford to live in the towns where they work. Bear Stearns collapsed! Housing won't correct itself until all the ARMS resets and all the foreclosures get flushed out of the system. Recession will last beyond 2010 when hyperinflation kicks in forcing home owners to sell.

Study your history and discover how we got into this mess in the first place. I do not believe that. Rich people dont want to live in a country where everyone else is poor. The wages are an arrangement between the employee and employer. There are good wages being paid in the US, but if the government confiscates more of what you make, and as RP points out, devalues the currency, yes, people regardless of wages are going to continue getting poorer and poorer. The government pickpockets the people by creating more inflation and taxing them heavier.

My friends and I have helped several people stop bank mortgage foreclosures, and keep their homes. The banking system is so riddled with easy-to-prove fraud, that even the courts are recognizing and enabling people to keep their homes just by understanding a little law and due process. The government is also catching on to the fact that people are waking up. More people need to learn what we've learned, and stand up against these monsters; to both save themselves/homes and perhaps the economy.

and dont stand down if some idiot tells you to stop protecting him. Defy that moron by any means ANY MEANS. Stand on the bumper of that motorcade. If kenedy's men had been there we would probably be living in a free nation right now. Id even consider phone tapping. I mean Ron Pauls protector should be able to hear any conversation regarding his assasination.
