I owned a 360 before i owned a PS3 and that was because i bought it from a friend for $75 because it had rrod. i spent so much money trying to get that system to the status that the PS3 was at. i got my PS3 a year later and i have not touched my 360 since 2008, it collects dust. the kinect is garbage, i am a hardcore gamer and only the PS move has hardcore games. 360 is an obsolete system. it has its good points but it is quite inferior to the PS3. Halo is a terrible series. KILLZONE!!!!
lol i find it pretty sad that Microsoft did such a dirty trick of putting the Halo 3 beta on Crackdown! i'm pretty sure if it didn't have the beta it wouldn't of sold that well!
also, i don't like 360's commercials! not because i own a ps3 but because Microsoft ALWAYS has other companies advertising for them e.g. Wal-mart, K-mart, Best Buy, Circuit City etc etc! Sony in the other hand, has Kevin Butler (Jerry Lambert) he makes the ps3 commericals HILARIOUS and AWESOME to watch!
ok well for games but gears of war is just played very much alot more different than most shooters that you just run and gun, you play it tactically with a shotgun. and crackdown is GTA time 10 and the only ps3 game you said was resistance

the nvidia 7900gt is the ps3 graphics card. many developers cant max out the ps3 potential as it is very expensive and hard to do. valve already dropped ps3 support because the orange box was already enough of a bad port.
I own all current gen systems and I buy exclusives only on PS3 and everything else on 360. Last year 360 had a very short list of exclusives, but you have to admit its pretty strong this year with Halo Reach, Crackdown 2, Mass Effect 2, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell Conviction, Fable 3, Portal 2, and Mechwarrior. Theirs others, but are far less relevant.

I have 24 games on ps3 and 12 of those are exclusive. I enjoy all 12 greatly. I also have a list of 4 more exclusives to get in 2010. Whereas If I had a 360 the only exclusives I'd want would be forza 3 and left 4 dead 2 compared with 16 on the ps3. Plus GT5 > Forza 3. Lastly PSN is perfect because its free, hardly lags, has clear voice chat and doesn't use stupid host to host servers unlike xbl. Explain your comment please because its plain stupid.

No Ps3 Game was produced jet for the Ps3 becaus programmig games for is mede on a MICROSFOT Base and Programmers just say it is too complex to use 60% of what a PS3 can do. I am quite sure failure rates are still the same for the 360, The graphics between the 360 and PS3 are pretty much the same when it comes to multi-platform games, But exclusive wise PS3 is normally better purely because of the full 1080P resolution and 50MB disc space, this means that games can be long and still maintain great graphics were as on the 360 a game with great graphics is normally short or the other way around. Then again if you want performance build a good PC it crushes them both.

Dude Xbox live is the best online gaming service..we pay for what we get, and nothing can beat that..only a fool would say it sucks..Xbox360's graphics are good enf to be appreciated..gears was the game which started and redefined the 3rd person shooter games..the cover system, blind firing n much more..for me my xbox360 is my life and my lifestyle along wit my ps3 which i bought only for the exclusives and bluray movies. Yes, I had a PS3. About a month after launch I purchased a bundle deal from Walmart's website. I got the system for retail, but I had to buy an additional controller, 5 games and 3 Blu-rays. Resistance: FOM was impressive, but otherwise I was kinda disappointed. My unit also had freezing issues with Blu-ray/DVD playback and would sometimes lose sync with the controllers during gameplay. I think these issued were later fixed in a system software update. Anyways, to show you I'm not biased...

Well I'm certainly used to the overall design as it is basically the same as the dual shock which came out around 1996. I think it works fine for most games. Racing games and FPS are a different story. My hands hurt after fifteen minutes from keeping my fingers on the L2 and R2 buttons. Also I don't like the L2/R2 buttons themselves. The have very limited range and they are convex. They should be triggers, not rounded buttons. Also the build quality is pretty bad. Your millage may vary.
I heard there were these triggers you could put on them so they feel better for first person shooters and I'm not a big fan of racing games so I wouldn't know much about those. All I know is I like the 360 controller is better than the ps3 one but I could get used to either.

I loved my Xbox 360 until I got the RRoD this past April. During the two weeks I was without my 360, I went to buy a PS3 even though I spent the past year bashing the PS3 and my friends who owned them. I must say that after I experienced the capabilites of the PS3 for myself I was completely sold. I hardly play my 360 anymore and I buy all of my non-exclusive games for the PS3. I am buying ODST but I'm not sure why. So take it from someone who owns both consoles.....PS3 owns Xbox 360.
Well I dont know ur lucky im having my 2nd xbox for the 1st year and its doing kinda bad now. All my disc broke ALL IDC if the game r good they jut break right away. I don't do anything bad to them, I;m highly careful with them and either they just break cuz of dust but I think it cuz of my box cuz it really sounds broken.
they added some other stuff to the ps3 slim, but i cant remember them. If you have a ps3 then you can see all the features of the new ps3 via the information board or the homepage on the internet browser.

the nvidia 7900gt is the ps3 graphics card. many developers cant max out the ps3 potential as it is very expensive and hard to do. valve already dropped ps3 support because the orange box was already enough of a bad port.

I own all current gen systems and I buy exclusives only on PS3 and everything else on 360. Last year 360 had a very short list of exclusives, but you have to admit its pretty strong this year with Halo Reach, Crackdown 2, Mass Effect 2, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell Conviction, Fable 3, Portal 2, and Mechwarrior. Theirs others, but are far less relevant.

I went to best buy today, as i was looking for a ps3 I couldnt find one they were all sold out. I walked over to the xbox section and man they are stacked and stacked everywhere. I cant find a ps3 fuck!!!

I have 24 games on ps3 and 12 of those are exclusive. I enjoy all 12 greatly. I also have a list of 4 more exclusives to get in 2010. Whereas If I had a 360 the only exclusives I'd want would be forza 3 and left 4 dead 2 compared with 16 on the ps3. Plus GT5 > Forza 3. Lastly PSN is perfect because its free, hardly lags, has clear voice chat and doesn't use stupid host to host servers unlike xbl. Explain your comment please because its plain stupid.

No Ps3 Game was produced jet for the Ps3 becaus programmig games for is mede on a MICROSFOT Base and Programmers just say it is too complex to use 60% of what a PS3 can do. Just trying to make u understand that every Multiplatform game for the ps3 was originaly Programmed for a Pc or a 360. But the fact that SONY hasn't thought about the Money issu with the Console, thei diden't have any for exclusie Games in supra Quallity.

I am quite sure failure rates are still the same for the 360, The graphics between the 360 and PS3 are pretty much the same when it comes to multi-platform games, But exclusive wise PS3 is normally better purely because of the full 1080P resolution and 50MB disc space, this means that games can be long and still maintain great graphics were as on the 360 a game with great graphics is normally short or the other way around. Then again if you want performance build a good PC it crushes them both.

Dude Xbox live is the best online gaming service..we pay for what we get, and nothing can beat that..only a fool would say it sucks..Xbox360's graphics are good enf to be appreciated..gears was the game which started and redefined the 3rd person shooter games..the cover system, blind firing n much more..for me my xbox360 is my life and my lifestyle along wit my ps3 which i bought only for the exclusives and bluray movies. I love the xbox360's controller and the feel of it while playin FPS games.

At that time i bought the ps3 for killzone2, that's how much i love FPS games..now uncharted 1-2..infamous..litle big planet resistance 2..r some of the games i own n play on my ps3...but still i love the feel of playin cod4 halo3..odst...gears 1-2...fear 1-2..and other games on xbox360..Uncharted2 is like bein in a movie gr8 game..graphics.

IM GOING ON MY LAST STRAW, Dont critisize a console you never owned or played becuase one thing I do know is that ur biased. the ps eye has 4 microphone array perfect for chatting the bluetooth headset has noise cancellation, the 360 mic dont and is wired to a controller. If u had a ps3 u would be sure that it does not suck, go get one then talk trash to me. I borrowed a 360 for 3 weeks and got nothing back in return except a waste of time.

The ps2 was less powerful than the Xbox and was launched before the original xbox. ppl kept sayin games matter more than graphics as xbox was way more powerful than the ps2, they kept sayin the xbox had a 8gb hdd and better graphics as it was launched after the ps2 and it was more expensive. I'm thinking of buying a PS3 now that they've dropped to $300. However, I'm hesitant to buy the slim. I'm worried that Sony's decision to place the BD-ROM directly over the HDD might cause issues with the optical drive. If I was to buy one today I would probably get an 80GB PS3 fat.

Yes, I had a PS3. About a month after launch I purchased a bundle deal from Walmart's website. I got the system for retail, but I had to buy an additional controller, 5 games and 3 Blu-rays. Resistance: FOM was impressive, but otherwise I was kinda disappointed. My unit also had freezing issues with Blu-ray/DVD playback and would sometimes lose sync with the controllers during gameplay. I think these issued were later fixed in a system software update. Anyways, to show you I'm not biased...

Well I'm certainly used to the overall design as it is basically the same as the dual shock which came out around 1996. I think it works fine for most games. Racing games and FPS are a different story. My hands hurt after fifteen minutes from keeping my fingers on the L2 and R2 buttons. Also I don't like the L2/R2 buttons themselves. The have very limited range and they are convex. They should be triggers, not rounded buttons. Also the build quality is pretty bad. Your millage may vary.

I heard there were these triggers you could put on them so they feel better for first person shooters and I'm not a big fan of racing games so I wouldn't know much about those. All I know is I like the 360 controller is better than the ps3 one but I could get used to either.

I loved my Xbox 360 until I got the RRoD this past April. During the two weeks I was without my 360, I went to buy a PS3 even though I spent the past year bashing the PS3 and my friends who owned them. I must say that after I experienced the capabilites of the PS3 for myself I was completely sold. I hardly play my 360 anymore and I buy all of my non-exclusive games for the PS3. I am buying ODST but I'm not sure why. So take it from someone who owns both consoles.....PS3 owns Xbox 360.

Well I dont know ur lucky im having my 2nd xbox for the 1st year and its doing kinda bad now. All my disc broke ALL IDC if the game r good they jut break right away. I don't do anything bad to them, I;m highly careful with them and either they just break cuz of dust but I think it cuz of my box cuz it really sounds broken.

they added some other stuff to the ps3 slim, but i cant remember them. If you have a ps3 then you can see all the features of the new ps3 via the information board or the homepage on the internet browser.
