It seems that when parents takes a name and changes the spelling, it gives the child, and anyone around them, grief for the rest of their life. It's like saying my parents were so getto, they thought Mary was spelled Merri or that Ureene sounds so pretty (because you were still coming out of pain meds from the labor room.)

I think a judge needs to ok names just to protect the child.

The problem with that 'online flirting' study is that they released the results to the public. Now everybody knows about it. So when a guy says that to a girl online, she'll likely be quite unimpressed by it. Instead of taking it as a compliment, she will probably conclude something to the effect of, "This guy put absolutely no thought or creativity into my compliment," and/or "He's probably not even being sincere.
