This happened to me like a couple of months ago. A OLD friend I haven't seen in like 14 years moved back from California and just stopped by my house. I was like "....".

im studyin psychology and i know this phenomenon pretty well... i was also amused how old friends have made such promises to escape the awkward conversation... and im just thinking to myself @i dont really care if we catch up or not@ but however im nodding in affirmation just not to insult his try to lie to me and/or to himself :D but anyway... thank you for your videos you are amusing and knowledgeable it feels good to watch your videos! keep it up and all the best

things almost always get awkward so by default you would say stuff like that and then leave. its so funny to see people saying hello like that because they almost always exagerate their motions and speak a lot more with their hands than normal because they feel uncomfortable lol

I had this encounter a couple weeks ago, with a girl that lives down my street... hadn't talked to her in at least 6 years. I just did the 'nice talking to you' bit. Didnt ask for her number or promise to hang out or anything. I guess I'll wave to her if I see her out in front of her house *shrug*

hey blinky ..I don't mean to sound like an ass.. Awesome video btw ... But here's the deal Iv bought like 12 different helmet cams to date use them for a week then return them I just can find any that work good either the quality sucks or the sound is horrible.... My iphone works better than all of them and its not even made for this .... I have to say however your cam picture quality looks great and the sound is really good ...but is it me or do you notice it curves the image a bit ?

@mitchwayne07 Yeah aware of that remember him ditching the old mic that came with the cam and buying a cheapo but since then he has bought a new cam ... I guess im more concerned with the curve I see in the video quality

I usually say, "Ok, cya around" Because I know they have friends themselves, (If they aren't a loner). But yea, I agree that people say silly things eg. Catching up etc. But 5 years, I would probably put them into an acquaintance level again, since I'd no longer know them to the full date. Rather than recognising the person as five years ago.
